Our Desiny (Jacob Black) Chapter 6

Chapter 6:

Jade's POV

I woke the next morning with vengences on my mind. I looked at the clock and it was 8:07. After slipping my feet into my scooby doo slippers, I made my way into the bathroom. I grabbed the bottle of liquid laxative from my medicine cabinet and headed out of my room, downstairs.

Once downstairs, I made my way into the kitchen. I pulled the pancake mix and some chocolate chips out of the cabinet, along with the milk from the fridge. I poured the batter into two separate bowls. In one bowl I mixed the regular pancake mix. In the second bowl, I added in the chocolate chips and the liquid laxative. I made sure to mix it in well. I plugged in the pancake griddle and waited for it to get hot.

When the griddle was hot i poured the regular pancake mix on there first. I ended up making fifteen pancakes out of that. I'd noticed Jake was a big guy, so he'd probably eat about ten of them. Once those were done I added the chocolate chip mix. I ended up making twenty-five of those. Seth and Embry looked like they could eat as well.

After pilling the pancakes on warmer plates, I sat them on the table. I unpulgged the griddle. I then took out five glasses from the cabinet, and then the orange juice and syrup and sat it on the table.

I ran upstairs and dispoed of the bottle in my bathroom cabinet. I made my way back down stairs and loaded the two bowls into the dishwasher.

"Something smells hella good." Dylan said coming into the kitchen. Seth and Embry were behind him.

"Pancakes." I answered simply.

I sat down behind my plain pancakes and they took the seats behind the chocolate chip pancakes like I expected them to. I picked up my fork and knife and cut my pancakes into pieces.

"Where's Jake?" I asked.

"Aww. You miss me?" he asked rounding the corner.

"No, I just didn't want these dogs to eat all the breakfast from you." I told him.

He took a seat beside me and drowned his pancakes in syrup. We all sat and ate together. Well I ate, the boys attacked like starving wolves.

"What possesed you to fix breakfast?" Dylan asked.

"We'd been eating leftover and quick stuff the past two days." I responded.

Once we finished eating the boys decided they wanted to go swiming. They didn't believe in waiting thirty minutes. I volunteered to clean the kitchen and Jake helped. When we were done he went out back with the boys and I went up to my room to change.

I slipped on my green and white one piece bathing suit. The sides were out and it had a yellow bow at the hip on both sides. I made my way down the stairs and outside. the boys were out there splashing around. I slid into the pool and leaned against the side. It's been a little over thirty minutes so my litle gift should be taking affect right abut now.

"You guys are such big ass kids. Stop splashing so damn much." I told them.

They all stopped and looked at me with mishevious grins on there faces. All of them except Jacob. Oh crap. Why the hell did I open my mouth and say anything? They took slow steps towards me.

"Oh, so you think we're kids Jadey Bug?" Dylan asked.

I tried to back up but I couldn't. Damn. Why the hell did I get in this stupid ass corner. Dylan grinned. Then all of a sudden he started running in the water towards the stairs, and for those of you who know how hard it is to run in water can imagine that he looked like a diseased wilderbeast. I held my laugh. Looks like the laxative is making an appearance.
