Chapter 20

Jade Pov.

As the week progessed, the chances of finding Jes were getting slim. We practically tore Washington apart. We searched up and down the streets trying to find her. Jacob and the guys tried to help the best way they possibly could. My mom and dad went as far as getting a private investigator to find her. Courtney went home Wednesday, she told me she'd search at home and check on Jes's mother.

It was Saturday, and Jake invited me over Sam's to hang out and get my mind off things. Dylan went into town for the day and I had nothing better to do. I locked the door to my house and walked over to my car. I cranked it after hopping in. I pulled out of the driveway and headed to my destination. The ride was spent listening to A-team by Ed Sheeran. I had it on repeat, because I was in love with this song.

At the chorus, the third time through, I pulled up to Sam's driveway. I assumed everyone was inside. I cut the engine getting out of the car. I begin walking up the porch, only to see Jacob appear at the door. He smiled at me as I made my way to him. I couldn't help but blush.

" Hey, baby."

" Hey." I said, reaching up to kiss him.

" Nope. What's the magic words?" He asked.

"Pretty please." I answered.

"Nope." He said again with a smirked.

" I don't know then." I thought pretty please would be enough.

" You have to say, 'Jakey is awesome'."He explained.

"No kiss for you then." I joked, trying to get around him. If it weren't for his big frame I probably would have made it passed him.

"Hey no fair. You know I'm awesome." He whined, sticking his bottom lip out in pout form.

"Aww you're so adorable." I said. I leaned up again and brushed my lips to his. He was caught off guard, but responded before I pulled away.

"Damn even when I think I'm winning, I lose." He stated, his bottom lip back in pout form.

"Yep, that's always going to happen." I replied, grinning.

He rolled his eyes, taking my hand and leading me inside. I saw everyone but Sam, Emily, and Paul. They were probably out getting food. I'm guessing.

"Hey." I waved to everyone. They all waved hi.

"Now we can get this party started." Seth said hugging me. I hugged him back.

"Seth you're so cute." I told him, smiling.

"So I've been told." He replied with a grin.

"Ok that's enough Seth. She's mine. M-i-n-e, mine." Jake stated. I blushed when he said that. No guy ever said that I was 'theirs'.

"Ok Jake, no need to blow my head off." Seth replied in surrender, causing everyone to laugh. Jake led me to the couch and we sat down. Jake sat by the arm of the couch and I sat in between him and Embry. Everyone's eyes was glue on the Tv watching some action movie with Daniel Craig.

During the movie, Jake would sneak kisses and caress my legs often. I had this irresistible urge to attack him, but I stayed put.

"Ew, can you guys get a room?" Embry said, pretending to gag.
