Chapter 24

Jade Pov

What the hell is going on?

What did he have to tell me? If it was going to make me mad then he needed to tell me like now. Jacob paced back and forth in front of me with his hands on his head."Jacob, what's going on? And don't you dare lie." I said, firmly.

He sighed, " S-something happened at school today." He stated.

"Ok and?" I urged him to tell me more.

"I-I " he stammered.

"Spit it out." I told him, becoming more mad by the second.

It got quiet. Jacob wasn't doing anything but making me mad and I really didn't need that right now. I literally can't handle anything else. Just as Jacob was about to talk a my phone buzzed. I felt Jacob's eyes on me as I reached for my phone. I grabbed it, only to see I had a text from an unknown number. I opened the text and really wished I didn't. I gasped realizing what I was seeing. It was some girl's but pressed against Jacob's area.

I was literally seeing fire. All the emotions running through me were ready to break through.

"Jacob, what the hell is this? Is this what you had to tell me?" I yelled, showing the picture I gotten. How could he do this to me? Why couldn't I have just have one decent boyfriend?

His mouth fell open. Why would he be surprised? I got out of bed and stood infront of him.

"Baby, get back in bed before you hurt yourself." He said, grabbing me by the waist.

"No." I removed his hands," I'm not getting in bed until you to explain this to me." I said, shoving my phone in his face. Jacob's body stiffed, and his face became hard and red.

He took a deep breath,"Fine, sit down and I'll explain." He told me, calmly. I went over to the bed and sat on it. "Talk." I commanded.

He sighed and just sat down on the bed beside me," I did not cheat on you. Today I was going to the bathroom and I was pulled into that secluded hallway at the back of the school-"

"Who pulled you into the hallway?" I couldn't really tell who the girl was in the picture.

"Tiffany." It like my whole head was about to completely blow off.

"Are you serious!? " I yelled. "That was Tiffany?"

"Baby calm down."

"No Jacob, stop telling me what to do. Why didn't you push her away or in fact walk away?" I was indeed furious. How could he do this? He knew I didn't like Tiffany.

"I did push her away."

"Really, I can't tell with the way she's all up on your dick in this picture."

He sighed exasperated,"Can I just finish my side of the story?" He asked irritated.

"Whatever." I said, folding my arms across my chest.

As he continued the story, I could feel myself getting more mad at the situation. This could have been totally avoided if he would have walked away. I mean come on he is stronger than her. When he was finish, he looked toward me and grabbed my hand. "I didn't cheat on you. I wouldn't do that. I like what we have."

"Jake you let her harass you." I said, taking my hand out his.

"So you don't believe me?" He questioned.

"Right now it's hard to."

"Oh-" the door opening cut him off and in walked my nurse, Ms. Christi.

"Is everything ok? I heard yelling. And what are you doing out of bed?" She asked all at once.

"We are just having a creative discussion." I stated.

"I didn't hear too much creativity." She replied, looking between us." Let me take your blood pressure and temperature."

"Ok." I replied, sitting on the bed.

"Lets get your temperature first. " She said, taking a thermometer out her jacket pocket. She put a plastic covering over the tip and handed it to me. I stuck it in my mouth and under my tongue.

A few minutes later, the thermometer beep and It was pulled it out of my mouth.

"Your temperature is looking good. 98.8" Christi told me as she recorded it on her clipboard. After she took my pressure, which was kind of high due to the fact that I was pissed off. Then she brought me some water and left.

The room was silent. The tension in here was so thick not even a knife could cut through it. I felt Jacob's eyes burning in my direction. I refused to look at him. He came and sat on the bed with me and I faced the other direction.

"Tell me what to do."

"I really just want you to leave." I said, I really didn't want him to, but right now I need some time to think about this.

"No, I'm not leaving until you tell me what to do. How can I make this better?"

" I mean you got yourself into this mess you can get yourself out."

"So what do you want? proof?"

"That's where I would start." I stated.

"Ok." He stood up, coming around to face me. I tried to turn but his hands stopped me.

"Look at me." He commanded. I turned my head in his direction but I did not look at him. He groaned in frustration, hoping I would look at him. But I didn't and he began to talk anyway.

"I'm really sorry that things unfolded this way. I'm sorry I've put you in this situation. I'm sorry that you have to go through this. I'm sorry I am stupid. And i know you're tired of me saying 'I'm sorry' but, You need to know that I would NOT do this to you intentionally. You're right I should have walked away."

"I just don't know what to believe." I put my hands in my head. He felt his warm lips on my hands. He kiss lingered on my hand for a moment before disapating into the air.

"I'm sorry." And with that he left. A few tears slid down my cheek. I sat there crying, hoping no one would come in and drown me with questions about why I was crying. I layed there, thinking about everything Jacob told me. I layed there, wanting everything Jacob told me to all just be a dream. Apart of me wants to believe him but the other side is telling me not to. Either way, I'm still going to kick Tiffany's ass. And you can bet on that.

Sorry about my tardiness. I went to girls state and made the best friends ever. Anyway I hoped you enjoyed this chapter.
