Chapter 6 - Expect the Unexpected

All the students at the canteen stood up and headed to the lounge. Me ,Sarah and her friends also rushed ourselves to see the results, I stepped my right foot forward but unexpectedly........

I felt something slippery that made me lose my balance, my body then continued to fall that I can't control to stand, I closed my eyes knowing what will happen next.... and......

*booooogshhh...*

Why I didn't felt any pain?. I slowly opened my eyes and saw the tall guy's face. It's so handsome that made me froze for a while and looked at it......

I felt his arm embracing me that kept me away from falling..... I smelled his scent that made my eyes close and let the good smell sniffed by my nose. I felt his soft palm touching my shoulder, and then I heared a voice...

"Just tell me if your done day dreaming.."

I opened my eyes aware that I'm laying on his arm.

I forced my body to stand up and fixed myself and faced him.. .

"Tha-thank you Mr. Tall Guy.... I mean... Trevor...." I said with a shy tone..... he then walked over me and said..

"Next time watch your steps.. " he said with a calm voice and continued walking to where Sarah and others are standing while staring on us... They are waiting.

I looked down to see what makes me fall. It's a piece of hamburger that Mark fell when they panicked to see the results.

I cleared my facial expression and faced them. I saw Sarah's big smile and the others are giggling because of that scene. We continue walking to the lounge to see the results.

Sarah poked me...

"That's one point" she murmured on my right ear that made me look into her face, then she ran into Trevor's side, still looking at me smiling.

I just sighed and continued walking following their back...

We reached the lounge and I saw a big flat screen hanged on a wall flashing all the results of the exam.

I heard screaming, murmuring, sobbing and also the cries of the students. I searched for Sarah and the others. They were just standing on a corner staring at the flat screen. I walked towards them while Sarah's coming into my way screaming ...

"JESSYYY!!!! I passed! I passed the exam!!! HAHAHA..." she screamed while running through me.

"Congrats!! " I responded to her while still walking.

"Thank you, Thank you..!! How about you??" she asked worried when she reached me.

"I havent search my name thou..." I answered and look to the flat screen..

"Go and find it now!! " she said and stared at the flat screen.

Arca,........ Jessy Sheine.... I searched the names on the flat screen to find mine. They ranked all the students depending on their scores in the exam. How I wish they sorted it alphabetically. It will be my advantage since my surname starts with 'A', uuugh.. I'll start from 100 up to the last one I'm sure it's there.. ....

Arca..... Arca .... Arca.... Arca Jessy Sheine......

Aaaaaarcaaaahh......

C'mon show yourself!!... uuugh I don't have enough patience for this !! --- my mind arguing with myself.

"AAHHHHH!!!!.." Sarah screamed that made me look at her.

"WHAAT?! " I asked screaming a little bit......

"Jessy is that you?? Look at the number 4... " she said turning her voice slowly. I searched the name on number 4 and I saw.. Arca Jessy Mhiere B. ... O.O I passed??

I screamed while jumping holding Sarah's hand that made her jump with me . We both jumped, screamed and laughed because of the results.

"OMG! Jessy, you're so smart!! " she said in a high tone.

"We are both smart Sarah. We both passed the exam" I explained to her letting her hand go.

"No!! You were on the 4th, that means you are the 4th smartest person who took the exam!" she exclaimed that made me look into the flat screen and checked again my rank......

4. Arca, Jessy Sheine B. .. .. . . Yeah, I ranked 4th tho. That,s why I can't find my name earlier because I searched below 100... tsss... I never expected this result.

"How about you?? What rank are you?" I asked Sarah out of curiousity.

"I'm on 15th" she said with a smile.

This girl's seriously don't have any problem in her life. She always smile that tells she's a happy go lucky girl.

"That's OK tho!" I said and saw Mara, David, Mark and the tall guy heading towards us.

I bet the three of them also passed. I can see their happiness, but... the tall guy?? I don't think he did. I can't read his damn poker face uuurgh.... ..

Sarah poked me and asked "Guess what??"
