Chapter 25 - Hot Seat

The class was over. Sarah and David was with me waiting for a taxi. Sarah actually has a car. She just needs to call her driver to pick her at school but she chose to help and accompany me waiting for a taxi and Mark as well. They really are sweet friends.

"You know what? I noticed Trevor was acting weird this  past few days." Sarah said.

"Yuh I noticed too. He's laughing now, smiling and the other stuffs that he never done before we met him. He's kinda emo before." David added.

"Maybe he's just got out of his shell" I answered. "And one thing, the Trevor now is better than before. He was smiling and laughing with us, he actually look more handsome if he's smiling." I added.

"Uhh.. you like him?" Sarah then asked.

"N-no??" I responded defending myself.

"LOL! Jessy it's fine if you like him! It's seriously OK to me. I know he don't like me tho." She responded making a sad face, "But I moved on already on him!! So it's fine if you like him, just tell me...  you do??" She added.

"NO! Totally no!.." I responded in a high tone.

"You know what Jessy—-..." David said then I cut his word.

"I don't know..." I said.

"It's fine if you like Trevor or someone else. It's just 'like' tho or 'infatuation'. In fact, you and Trevor look like a cute couple." David explained.

"Yuh! We actually noticed you both acting like a couple." Sarah said. "Even tho I sometimes saw your annoyance on him." She added that made my eyes widen.

"Were not acting like.... what you think! " I exclaimed I'm kinda annoyed with this kind convo. They're pushing me to tell a lie -.-

I then noticed the rain was pouring. I haven't brought my umbrella tho.

"Fine fine.... tsssss... but... whenever you feel something on him... I'm here, ready to listen as your friend." She teased me.

"Do you have an umbrella?" David asked me.

"Nope.." I answered and suddenly a car stopped in front of us.

We just look at it because of curiosity. And then the driver opened the window and saw Trevor's face.

I was surprised because of his unexpected appearance. I slapped my face to awaken myself, maybe I'm dreaming again.

"Guys, it's raining. Get in! I'll bring you to your houses." Trevor said while looking on us from his car.
