The mere sight of a tear on her cheek, whether it was his fault or not, would cause his heart to break. She was pure and always the sunshine of the room. Yaga wanted nothing but for Rintaro to enjoy a long, fruitful life and seek happiness.

The news waiting to be announced could either lift a large weight from the students shoulders or send Rintaro into a personal spiral. And, Yaga could not decide whether he was ready to risk the possibility of hurting Rintaro.

"Myself, the higher ups, some other clans, and the principal of Kyoto attended this meeting, here at the school. And, it was quite the meeting to be present to." The twins looked to each other, sharing the same expression of shock and hopelessness.

Satoru was only slightly surprised, since this wasn't the first time this meeting was brought to his attention. He first learned of this meeting when Yaga brought flowers for Rintaro in the medical hall following the mission that was supposed to ensure the stability of their world.

His first reaction was admittedly anger, because it felt as if the teacher was losing faith in his own students ability to heal herself. It left him feeling like everyone pitied him, which was the last thing he wanted.

It was also the first time Yaga witnessed anything less than happiness on his students face. In that moment that he held his arm over Satoru's back comfortingly, he swore he could see the motivation and spark once seen in the irritating Gojo leave his body.

An undesirable feeling brewed in his stomach seeing a twin left to mourn the death of its other half, especially since he had guilt concocted with his mixed emotions gnawing at his feelings for days on end. Yaga felt that the only way to give Satoru the motivation to keep going was to inform him of the meeting to be had.

"It's quite obvious that this particular gathering was not on the usual schedule." The words he mentally prepared himself to say began to dry his throat, turning his tongue to sandpaper. "Because, this one was called by emergency to respond to the Tengen mission."

Rintaro's bodily temperature suddenly dropped significantly as her bottom lip began to quiver against her teeth. She desperately needed to keep the tears that dared to escape within her eyes to not alarm anyone.

But, only she knew just how much that unruly mission caused her to brain to turn on her. Giving her vivid memories and flashbacks of the entirety of the mission. Most nights she woke up screaming and pushing away Satoru when he would try to ease her hysteria and comfort her.

Hearing that there was even a discussion to be had on that mission was running her blood cold. Desperation filled her as she wanted to be done with it, and be able to finally leave it in the past to rot and be forgotten.

Suguru glanced through his bangs in Rintaro's direction to check on her. He could easily read that she was not in her best state of mind right now, and whatever else Yaga had to say would surely send her into an episode. He truly felt bad for her and just wanted to bring her into the tightest hug and never let her go.

His hand respectfully moved from its place on her thigh and reached up towards her sternum, where her hands conjoined in an isolated manner. Suguru gently pulled away the hand closest to him and laid it against her lap, while his fingers perfectly intertwined with hers.
