𝐒𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐮 𝐚𝐧𝐱𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐭, 𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭-𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲. Rintaro was currently the only thing on his mind, especially after becoming so concerned with her safety that seemed to be compromised, according to her sudden burst of cursed energy that shook the school within its own foundation. Which, wasn't the kind of surge that would take place if she was fine.

He winced in pain after biting down to the sensitive skin of his nails, again. Next finger, it is. The once strong residuals of her energy he did his best to chase, we're disappearing before his very eyes in the seemingly lifeless wing of the school.

Suguru's desperation began to slow with each cobwebbed room he ducked and peered into. Yet, each room appeared to be emptier than the last. At this rate, he wasn't going to find her. Even though his only want and need was to protect her. But how was he supposed to when he couldn't simply find her?

The second year dropped his nail bitten hand from his face and breathlessly leaned onto the nearest dusted wall for support. His sore legs gave out beneath him, forcing the dust eerily stuck on the aged walls to kick up. Several coughs left his throat as he fanned away the cloud of filth that he accidentally allowed entry into his lungs.

"God, that crawlspace has been killing my back lately." Suguru's ears perked up at the sudden hint of his girls voice booming from a nearby office space. He remained quiet and traced her graceful mutters to the shut door a little ways away that held the sight of her small shadow behind the yellowing window.

With wide eyes, he watched Rintaro's body follow the harsh motion of the sliding door. Which, lead her innocent bones to slam right into the slab of wood joyously waiting for her at the end of its track. A loud wince of pain left her throat upon its impact, causing her to cling onto her newly aching rib cage that adorned a new trail of dust along the uniform.

Suguru watched her peel herself away from the support the open door allowed. She walked with a limp in her stride, drawing his attention to the swollen left ankle that most likely came from the doors impact, as well. His eyes had enough of her injury and slid back up to her perfect lips that heaved a short sigh of fatigue as she began to trudge towards him, still not aware of his not so hidden presence.

"Hey, Rintaro!" Suguru smiled at her with shut eyes to alert her of his presence from below. His own ankle suddenly birthed a new pain from an unforeseen force that was accompanied by a loud slam on the floor before him.

He quickly forced his eye lids open to see the Gojo spread across the floor. "Oh damn, my bad." The second year quickly pushed himself up the wall he previously slid down, feeling guilty to have harmed her further.

"Suguru, hey!" Rintaro blinked back at his perfectly real appearance she wasn't expecting to see. Which confirmed that he wasn't the byproduct of her cruel imagination taking advantage of the fact she was overworked. "I didn't see you there."

Her Six Eyes traced down from his kind smile to the muscular body playing prisoner behind the white button down shirt he chose to wear. In her peripherals, she could see his hand slowly approach, forcing her eyes to dart to the bulge of muscle begging to be let out from his evenly rolled up sleeves.

"Didn't mean to take you by surprise." Suguru clasped his hand around hers before aiding in her lift to her own feet.

"No, I don't mind it one bit," Rintaro continued to look down, her attention fully on his larger hand that still encapsulated hers. The veins of his hand stared back at her with every rush of blood that coursed through them. "But, what are you doing around here?"
