He never loved anything more than Rin, she was his other half, his whole world. And his family had unfortunately ripped them apart when they were young.

"Rin! Come here." His voice loudly called to her from the garden of their estate. He watched as she jogged over to him, her black locks moving with the wind behind her. She ran into him and seized him into a tight hug. "Toru." She said with a soft smile, nuzzling herself into his chest.

Satoru leaned back and allowed them to fall onto their backs, landing on the floral covered ground. Petals flurried in spirals above them as they watched mesmerized. "I missed you, how was it?" Satoru asked, recalling the meeting with her father she left the estate for.

"It was boring, as always, there's never any other kids there, Toru. Why must they torture me by being away from you." She pouted and looked over at him. "I wish we didn't cause so much trouble the last time so we could go together again." They both giggled, remembering how they made papers fly everywhere and had tried to practice Jujutsu on them as the thin sheets fell. And then their father yelled, oh was he pissed.

"I think it's unfair, they know we shouldn't be kept apart." Satoru added, he looked at her and brushed the raven hair from of her face. "Rin...?" Satoru looked at her softly, she glanced at him.

"I know they say we're supposed to be the strongest... but do you think that'll make them tear us apart? Like do you think we'll never be allowed out of the house together, again? Do you think we'll leave each other to be strong separately?" Rintaro sat up and looked down at her twin, confused as to how a 5 year old could conjure such thoughts.

"Toru, who else would treat me like a princess, and brush my hair, and feed me oranges," She began listing things by numbering her fingers, "Or who else would scrub my head in the bath when I feel too lazy? Or what about, who else would make me feel better about the weird looks we get?" She smiled at Satoru with genuine love in her eyes. He tightly grasped onto her wrist and pulled her down to fall into him again, now forcing her into a tight embrace.

"I never want to be the strongest alone, I want you right by my side forever, Rin." He bent down and laid a kiss on the crown of  her head.

Rintaro could only beam at him with a large smile, "As long as we have each other, we'll never be alone. And don't worry Toru, I know you wouldn't survive without me, because I'm stronger." He pushed her away this time and began tickling her. She giggled before swatting and kicking at him to stop.

"Take it back, Rintaro. You know I'm stronger." She knew she had upset him when he used her full name. It saddened her and he could tell just by the way she suddenly stopped laughing. "Oh come on Rin,  I was just joking." She rolled away from him, now sitting up with her back facing him.

Satoru looked to the branch hanging above them and picked one of the fresh oranges weighing down the wood. He quickly began to peel it for her, since she never could. "Rin, I peeled you an orange." He offered lightly, poking her back. "And I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, and use your full name." She turned slightly and slyly smirked at him.

"And?" Rintaro prodded, seeing the fresh orange in his palm. His eyes rolled sarcastically, knowing exactly what she wanted him to say.

"And, you're the strongest, I guess." With his admittance, she quickly turned around, grabbing the orange and smiling up at him.
