The following weekend, no one was able to find Prince Kalum. Believe me, Nessa tried. Having Chloe gone was weird too. Even though she and I weren't exactly close, you could tell the dynamic was off. Or at the very least, it was significantly quieter. I don't even want to imagine what it will be like as more and more girls start to leave.

I was talking in the garden with Avalon, when Hannah came running out with a letter in hand. "Sarah! This came for you! I was told to hand it to you personally," she said out of breath.

I thanked her and took the envelope from her hands.

"Ouuuu is it a letter from home," Avalon teased.

"Something like that," I laughed, "I'll be right back."

I walked away from her and sat on a bench, before opening the letter. It read:

Dear Sarah, Thank you for your last blueprint sketches. You are doing quite well.Continue staying at the palace as long as you can. I caught wind that there are rival groups nearby, who have taken great interest in what we are doing. They are open tocreating an alliance in our revolution. I will keep you updated as long as you do. Good luck.- AtlasP.S. Leo wanted me to tell you, he misses you.

I smiled down at the letter in my hands. With all the craziness going on here, it's almost impossible to remember the real reason I was sent here. Leo misses me. And although Atlas's note was straight to the point, I couldn't help but wonder if he misses me too.

I folded the letter and put it into my pocket. When I reached Avalon, we noticed Jeremiah walking outside.

"Jeremiah," Avalon called out.

His head snapped to us and he smiled charmingly, "Good morning, ladies. How might I be of service?"

"Where has Kalum been," I cut in.

Jeremiah made a confused face at me, "Kalum? He's been holed up with mother the last couple days. Probably prepping for Kingly duties and such. They get like that every once in a while. Since when do you care where he is?"

Avalon glanced between us before saving me, "Well I was the one who was asking. A lot of the girls were wondering too. We were just curious if he was out or something."

Jeremiah crossed his arms and grinned, "Ooooh you all are jealous at the thought of him riding off and possibly meeting with one of his past lovers, right?"

"Ew," I blurted.

Jeremiah laughed, "No worries. He won't be doing that anymore. Even if he were, that just means more for me here. He'd be a fool to leave any of you beautiful ladies alone at the palace." He finished talking with a wink to me. "I have to get going though, see you two around," he waved before speeding off.

Avalon and I continued walking and chatting when suddenly Avalon perked up, "Sarah! I just had an amazing idea! What if we get the girls together and have a sleepover. Or something fun, for us all to bond over?"

"I don't know... None of us are exactly close to each other. It feels a bit grouped up already."

"Oh please, it could be fun and stress-relieving."

"Hmmm, can there be karaoke?"

Avalon's eyes lit up, "Yes! Oh my god you're a genius! Karaoke sleepover. And we can decorate to have it super cute! Even Nessa and Valentina will feel inclined to attend! You know they can't get left out of a party."

Imagining a sleepover with Nessa sounded like hell, but maybe this could be fun. Avalon seemed really excited about it, so I agreed to help her make it happen.
