Leo's Point of View:

That damn Prince Jeremiah. Why does he have to be so fucking good-looking. It's not even fair. Sarah's smart. She wouldn't fall for his dumb tricks. Then again, why is he bringing her expensive champenge to toast to? What happened between them? Did I miss a chapter??

I groaned to myself and hurried down the hall.

"Leaving so soon," a smooth, deep voice asked me.

I glanced behind me and saw a man standing in the shadows. I rolled my eyes and ignored it. Whatever.

All I could think about right now was how badly I wanted to jump off of a cliff and forget what just happened. I have fucked up my entire ten year plan. I kissed Sarah. On the lips. At a party. Dressed as a royal guard. Godddddd.

Atlas is going to make to make me train for an extra hour tomorrow when he hears about this.

Sarah was different tonight. It was a feeling I couldn't shake. She was more confident. More sure. Granted, she looked breathtaking in that gown. I've never seen her so dressed up before. The television truly doesn't give her justice. But fuck. Why didn't she want to come back with me?

What more could she have to do at the castle? The Resistance has all the information they need?

My back slammed against the brick walls and I tried catching my breath. Sarah....

She's changed, I can see it in her eyes. Feel it in her touch. Feel it in her tone. She's not the same, and she's never coming back.
