The next day

I woke up with my head pounding, I reached for the sheets and realised they weren't mine, and then like a wave, last night came rushing back to me. I swung around to find mitchel. Thankfully he was asleep.I grabbed my clothes and through them on before I tiptoed out of the house.

I then realised that I was lost, i had never been to this part of town before. I wondered aimlessly for an hour until I got to a dog park, I sat down on a cold wooden bench and checked my phone, Jamiee had been calling all night, what will she say when I tell her I slept with mitchel!? should i tell her? i groaned. why did i complicate everything? oh thats right because its me! ive never done something so horrible to my best friend, i feel so violated, i cant believe my first time was with mitchel! his probably awake by now uggh i feel terrible.

I can't tell jaimee, she wouldn't speak to me ever again, lower down on the phone my mum had called 15 times, I avoided that phone call as well. I was about to stand up and continue walking when I looked up to find masons green eyes staring into mine. "Oh..uh hey, late night?" He questioned looking my up and down I must have looked like a prostitute in my skimpy clothes, "hah yeah I'm just lost" I spoke through chattering teeth, it was freezing! "We'll I'm on my way home I could give you a lift?" I agreed quickly and walked with him and his dog, we didn't talk every time we tried he bit his tongue and so did I, when we got to his house he loaned me a jumper and drove me home in his pick-up truck.

"so you drive a pick up truck huh? very country of you" i mocked 

"you cant judge me look at what you drive" he responded warmly

"you know what i drive? thats a bit creepy" i pressed

"dont flatter yourself who wouldnt notice your car? its one speed bump away from losing the transmittion" 

"ahh okay okay" i spoke, i re positioned my legs and i saw masons eyes glance to the edge of my skirt.

"could you please not do that in my car? and why are you even out of the house at this time of the morning in that outfit?" he questioned, god he was acting so protective

"its jaimees dress, do you really think i would own something like this? and i had a late night thankyou very much"

the rest of the drive was in silence until we pulled up to my house.

"Thank you for driving me you saved my but" I spoke quickly "your welcome, I couldn't let you freeze" he smirked his gorgeous white teeth and my stomach turned. I closed the door and went inside preparing to call Jamiee and lye to my best friend for the first time.
