i sat on my bed staring at my phone. it was the middle of the night and i still couldnt bring myself to call jaimee, she will be crushed if i tell her the truth but ive never lied to her before. she deserves the truth, but then.. what if she already knows? i desided to call and find out. the phone rang once before a very excited jaimee answered the phone. "MADDIE! OH MY GOD! where were you? ive been trying to call you all day! didyou see mitchel last night oh my god!!!!" i stuttered struggling to interupt her gush but when jaimee is excited its hsard for her to comprihend anything else. "JAIMEE!!! " i interupted into the middle of jaimees gush over they eye contact her and mitchel made last night. "im sorry im just so excited" she spoke sheepishly. i loved her excitment, i desided i couldnt tell her, i mean its for the best yeah? instead i let her talk about her rush on mitchel, and that was punisment enough.

monday at school i was walking down the corridor when i felt a strong arm pull me behind a locker, it was mitchel. i looked down blushing at the thought of friday nighthe stood teir with a serious look on his face."...what do you want?" i asked a bit defencively, he was acting quite harsh. "you no what i want, why did you just leave?" he looked angry but his tone didnt help my rage "you know why i left, it was a mistake" he looked hurt and i imediantly regreted my words. "it wasnt a mistake dont say that! i want to be with you, why cant you see that?" i felt like cryng, "jaimee is my bestfriend she loves you, and i just dont feel that way about you mitchel im sorry" he looked like he was about to cry now, i went to hug him and felt a sharp pain in my chest, quickly followed by my body slaming into the locker. i slid down in pain. mitchel bent down he was red faced "i.. i cant believe.. im.. im so-" a hand appeared on mitchels sholder, pushing him back. it was mason. "stay away from her!" he growled visiously. mitchel scurried away at the sight of mason, and honetly if he wasnt helping me, i would be terrified aswell.

mason bent down next to me and touched the back of my head examining me. "your bleeding im taking you to first aid" he spoke almost instructivly. i shook my head and felt dizzy "i dont want to go" i said almost child like. "well i didnt ask did i?" he growled and i felt a chill. mason could see the fear in my  eyes and became sympathetic.

"ill come with you and i wont leave your side" he whispered, stroking my hair, he picked me up and carried me to first aid keeping his promise
