After the argument with Sabrina, Cassie and I immediately found Beverley wandering the halls wary of Greta's presence. Of course, we weren't gonna make it obvious she was there, so once she caught us in the corner of her eye, we ushered her over to us. We were underneath the staircase, nobody ever really roamed this part of the school so we were almost sure Beverley would be okay here.
"Bev-
"I already know what you're gonna say, so i don't care." The girl shrugged. Huh?
"Wait, what the fuck? What are you on about Beverley?" Cassie asked worriedly.
"About Greta looking for me, your brother already let me know, Nat." she grabbed my shoulder, "Thanks, anyways."
"No! Bev don't go. Please. We have more to tell you, you're not gonna like it but it really needs to be said.." I said. Cas nodded her head in agreement and patted her hand on the floor for her to sit. Beverley furrowed her eyebrows at the gesture and realised it would be about Sabrina.
"Sabrina's told Greta about where you are- or atleast tried to. We managed to send her somewhere else, but just watch your back. She doesn't like you and we dunno if she's gonna start hanging with Greta and her group, so just keep an eye out okay? Please." Cassie explained.
"Sure." Bev nodded. "Thanks, guys. Cya around!" Why was she so desperate to get away? I shrugged it off and walked away with Cassie.'One more class, and then it's over.' I thought to myself. I had social studies now, with Sab. Fuck. Luckily, I spoke to a few people in that class so i wasn't gonna be a loner. Like Cassie, thankfully she was in the same class as me so I was fine. I started thinking of the other people in that class, then realised that Patrick was in there too. Alongside Henry Bowers. Its fine, they're never really trouble. Cassie and I linked arms whilst walking to class, unsurprisingly bumping into Sabrina on the way. She shot us both a look, a weird one. We simply scoffed at the expression and shoved her quite hard into the door leading into the classroom, causing her to fall through the doorframe and onto the floor, pathetically lying on her back begging for sympathy. I heard laughter fill the room, and heard a familiar laugh close by. I looked up to see Patrick right infront of Sabrina, looking down at her and laughing. Then he looked up gazing at me, smirking. My eyes locked with his, as i smirked back at him. We held this for a couple of seconds until he decided to look away and focus his attention on Bowers. I had suddenly felt a hot flush come over me, and Cas turned to me giggling,
"Shit, Natalie you're red!" I turned away, embarrassed and covered my face with my hands until I had calmed.
"Do you like Hockstetter?!" She whispered, jokingly. I shook my head aggressively at the comment and looked down.
''No way! Why would I ever like that psycho?" I gasped, still flustered."Psycho." I didn't mean it, did I?
