HOME
Natalie's POV
Richie came back home from Bill's house, and slammed the front door behind him. Loud enough so I could hear, atleast. 'Someone's in a mood...' I thought to myself.
"Richie I'm about to make dinner what do you want?" I shouted up to him.
No response.
"Richie!" I shouted once more.
Still no reply.
I decided to go up to his room to see what he was doing.
I knocked on his door three times before he opened it.
"Whatsup?"
"Nothing." He answered.
"Sure. Anyways, what do you want for dinner?"
"Not hungry."
"Suit yourself!" I huffed making my way back downstairs.

Monday
I walked the halls of the school for a while before deciding to go to class. Richie hadn't spoken to me for almost two days, and now his friends- 'The Losers' won't either. Only Beverly. I've really fucked up.

"Miss Tozier why are you so late to my lesson?" Mr Green asked as I entered the room.
"I was in the toilets." I replied.
He shook his head. "For 12 minutes, very believable Natalie. Sit down."
I took my seat next to Marie Campbell, one of the Bowers Gang's many targets.
History dragged. It seemed to never end and at some points I think I fell asleep.
Atlast, the bell had finally tolled.
I got up and went to the door when mr Green stopped me in my tracks.
"You need to stop bunking off of my lessons, do you hear me? Skip again and I'll get your parents involved."
I laughed at his words.
"My parents won't care. They never have, and I'm more than sure they never will." I chuckled while walking out.

In the hall, I bumped into Belch. The rest of them were all infront of him.
"Oh hey Reggie."
"Hi Natalie. Uh, Patrick was just lookin' for you. Want me to get him?"
"Yeah sure."
He hurried towards Patrick, Henry and Victor who were all stood at a doorframe further down the hall.
I saw Belch whisper something in Pat's ear, and Patrick quickly made his way over to me. Belch stayed with the others.
"Hi Patrick are you alright?"
"Yeah, thanks. I was just looking for you- I have a question?"
"Go ahead." I said.
He put his hand on the back of his neck.
"I was wondering if you wanted to like, I dunno, be a part of the group or something?" He asked.
I smiled and agreed, "What about Henry? Does he know?"
"Uh. Not yet, but if I tell him-
"Pat, don't do it unless he's alright with it. You know full well he has it out for me and hates me. I wanna be on good terms with him before I fully start hanging around with you guys."
His smile faded but returned quickly,
"Got it. Catch you later?"
I nodded and went to my social studies class.
