*TS to Friday*

The final day of school had arrived. Mom & Dad had still not returned from their 'business trip'. However they were coming home some time tomorrow. Victor's parents invited my parents around their's for some kind of meet-up or something. What me and Richie had to do with it I'll never know.

Ring
Ring

The phone in the kitchen tolled repeatedly.

"I'm coming fucks sake!" I groaned as I ran down the stairs wrapping the tie around my robe.
Because of the commotion, Richie was awoken from his slumber.
"Answer that phone would you? I've been awake 20 seconds and I've already gotten a headache!" He shouted down. I jogged into the kitchen and snatched the phone.
"Tozier residence, who's speaking?"
"Hey, it's Cassie!"
"Oh, hey Cas. Why are you phoning? It's 4 in the morning?" I yawned.
"Dunno. I'm bored, can't sleep. Actually, can I come over?" She asked.
"What? Girl, it's literally the crack of dawn and you're asking to come over?! We have school in like 3 hours go to sleep!" I lectured her. She wouldn't listen though.
"Please?"
"Hm. Let me think. No!"
"Pleaseeee?"
"Fuck off Cassie!"
"Pretty please with a cherry on top?"

Eventually I gave in and she was at my house within 5 minutes. Still in her pyjamas.
"Be quiet though. Richie's in lala land please don't wake him!" I whispered and laughed. Cassie giggled quietly,
"Lala land?" we both laughed together, still trying not to wake Richie.

We sat in my room and gossiped for awhile. I lay on my bed with my head rested on my pillow whilst Cassie was sat next to me wrapped in a blanket I had found somewhere in my closet. After a while of resting in silence, Cassie piped up.
"Wanna skip today? Y'know. While your parents are off and stuff?"
I nodded my head. We made some plans to go and mess around in the park, cause trouble in some shops, just like any other teenager around here.

Once Rich had left for school, I got dressed. Cassie borrowed some of my clothes since she didn't have any of her own. After doing my morning routine and she did hers, I made us both breakfast. I had a bowl of Coco Pops and a cup of coffee, Cassie had two slices of toast and a can of coke from my fridge. After this, I washed the dishes while she watched Full House. I didn't mind though.

I put my shoes on and fixed my hair before going into my room in search for my pack of cigarettes. I opened my desk drawer to find there was nothing inside. Of course, I forgot I ran out lastnight. I made my way back to Cassie.
"You got any cigs on you?" I asked.
"I literally have 2 left Nat I need to get some more." She replied.
"Fuck it, we're going to the Chemist. You're the one getting them this time though!"
She huffed and walked out the door with a quick nod.

*TS*

We sat by the flowing river with the 'cancer sticks' between our fingers. I pulled my zippo out of my pocket and got up.
"Where are you going?" Cass questioned, standing up.
"There's a couple dandelions over there, I wanna burn them, I'm bored."
She followed me over to the field of dandelions and we shared the lighter, setting them alight one by one, watching the white puffs disappear beneath the flame.

Both of us got bored after a few more minutes and we decided to go to the park and chill there for a while. I noticed that not being around Patrick was such a relief, like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. It was weird really. Probably because I was never used to this much attention from a guy before.
