Natalie's POV
And finally, 3 weeks later, summer rolled around. We were off on summer break and I was finally free. Missy and I had grew closer and closer. We were best friends , I couldn't be happier. I also found out last week she was actually Henry's twin sister. Never would've guessed. We went shopping last week, I got the cutest outfit ever for a party I was going to- well, crashing with the gang and Missy. However, for some reason, Patrick had been becoming more distant and I didn't really understand why. I was hoping this party could bring us closer, help us bond better. The last date we went on was at the same diner which we went on for our first. There's pretty much nowhere to go when it comes to Derry.

Patrick's POV
I was at Henry's like usual. His sister came strutting into the room with a pack of cigarettes which she stole from the drug store and threw them at Henry's head.
"Don't throw things at your brother, princess." I smirked, trying to get her attention. A light blush had appeared on her face before she went away to the kitchen.
"I hope you can get it into your thick ass skull at some point that you actually have a girlfriend." Belch huffed.
"Oh shut up Reg." I rolled my eyes at his comment. Honestly, i started losing feelings for Natalie a while back. Probably after I got introduced to Missy- not straight away, obviously. I've started talking to Sabrina too. She's kinda hot, i can't lie. She's supposed to be at tonight's party. Both of them are. Fuck yeah.
Nat's going too.

Natalie's POV
Missy came over to mine to get ready together. She was wearing a blue flared jumpsuit which suited her so well. I didn't really dress for parties, but since i was trying to get closer to Patrick i thought to make an effort. I wore a basic white and black striped shirt with some denim jeans and a denim jacket to go with it.
"We look so good." She said turning to face me.
"So good." I echoed, smiling.

We left with the guys, all of us going into Belch's car.
"Hold up, how's this gonna work." Missy laughed.
"It's either you two sit on the floor, someone's lap or Nat can go in her dad's car with Missy." Belch said.
Missy turned to me and nodded.
"We'll go in my dad's car." I answered.
I heard a quiet grunt come from someone, presumably Patrick. We both chuckled and went over to mine.

Robert Hegarty's house
Patrick's POV
Me and the guys waited for Missy and Natalie outside of the house. Eventually, they pulled up and came to us. I gave Natalie a quick kiss on the forehead and we headed inside. We were greeted with 'KISS' blasting from the speakers and loads of people in our faces, dancing or whatever else.
"They've got beer right?" Henry asked.
"Obviously, it wouldn't be a fucking party without alcohol." Missy replied, shoving past us with Natalie.
"Where the fuck did my sister just go." Henry shouted.
"Where the fuck did my girlfriend just go." I laughed.
Victor eventually ended up trying to find both of them, and we all went our own seperate ways.
Natalie's POV
I've never been too keen on parties, but this one was kinda fun. I was looking for Patrick but on my way, bumped into Vic.
"Oh, Nat hey."
"Hi!"
"You enjoying the party so far?" he shouted over the music.
"Sort of, i don't have anyone to talk to though, ha." I replied, doing the same.
"Well i guess you do now because i don't either!" He grinned. We stuck together for most of the party. I was talking to Missy beforehand, I mentioned me and Patrick and thats when she walked away. I was slightly confused, but she probably meant no harm.

11:25 PM
After all this time, I still couldn't find Patrick and me and Victor were still stood together. It was fun though, we'd gossip and dance, whatever really. Atleast he made it somewhat enjoyable. I ended up getting impatient and wanted to see Patrick. I didn't put all of this effort into looking good for nothing. I wanted to impress him, get closer and bond more with him.
"Do you know where Patrick would be?" I asked Victor, again shouting over the music.
"No, d'you wanna look for him?" He replied.
"Yeah, alright."
We started walking all around the house in search for him. No matter where we went, he wasn't there. Until we reached the garage.

I spotted Patrick in the corner, with a girl. No, not just a girl- It was Missy. My best friend Missy. He was all over her, his eyes were full of lust and desire. Those eyes once looked at me the same way, now they were looking at Missy. How could he do this to me? Why did he do this? What did I do to deserve this? I turned to face Victor, gripping onto his arm for support. I was going to break down, I felt it in my bones. Tears were welling in my eyes and my mouth had dropped wide open in pure disbelief. Victor looked down at me and put his arm over my shoulder and held me against his chest, comforting me. He then took my arm, walked us out of the room and led me to my dad's car.
"I'll drive." he said, opening the passenger door for me, "Do you wanna spend the night? My parents will understand, y'know."
"Please." I mumbled.

He parked the car in my driveway and took me to his house. The second we entered his bedroom he grabbed hold of me and i broke down. I fell to the floor and sobbed, Vic was sat with me and was hugging me close trying his very best to help. Tears ran from my eyes uncontrollably and it was either the carpeted floor or Victor's shirt that soaked them up.
"Hey...hey it's okay, don't cry...please. Oh, Nat." Victor murmured, holding me close in his arms. I felt so safe in that moment but so broken and numb. A hole in my heart had been created and i didn't possibly know how i would've been able to fill it. But, in that moment, I had Victor. I lifted my head up to look at him and managed a smile, a weak one at that.
"Thank you. So much." I spoke, wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Anything for you, Nat. I can't bare seeing you like this, it hurts. This should never have happened. I'm so sorry."
