                               SUNDAY

"So basically, I think I know who likes you!" Cassie teased. We were on the phone for about 25 minutes now, and I was getting bored.
"Mhm." I replied, staring blankly at the floor.
"Do you wanna take a guess?" She asked jokingly.
"No, not really." I groaned.
'I wonder who she thinks it is. Surely she doesn't know it's Patrick, right?' I thought to myself.
"Okay. Well, I think it's-
Before Cas could even finish her sentence, and tell me who she thought it was, the phone had cut off. Confused, I checked the wires to see if I had tugged on anything too hard and everything seemed fine.
'That's odd. Maybe it was something on her end.' I wondered. I shrugged it off and returned the phone onto its holder.
-
"Nat, Eddie is coming over later and we were wondering if you'd wanna come to the quarry with us and the rest of the Losers after?" Richie asked with a smile.
"Yeah sure why not!" I answered, returning the smile.
"Okay! I'll let you know when we're gonna go. You'll be in your room right?"
I nodded and made my way up to my bedroom.
As I entered I saw something on my dresser. A box. I walked over to it and took a closer look. On the top, it had a small piece of paper placed on top. I opened it and it read;

'Looks just as beautiful as you, don't you think?'

My eyes widened and I opened the box to reveal a shining gold necklace with a small diamond sat in the middle. It was plain, but oh so gorgeous. However my attention quickly returned to the note, and I inspected the handwriting trying to figure out who wrote it.
I spent a good 5 minutes trying to think of who could have possibly given me this gift. Patrick shot into my mind first thing. He wouldn't do such a thing, would he? How would he have known my address? How would he have gotten into my room anyways? Surely it couldn't have been him. It might have been my mom, she did say she had something for me last night. I shrugged it off and picked up the necklace. I put it on and looked at it in the mirror, it shone beautifully in the sunlight.

MONDAY
Patrick's POV:
I leaned against the wall completely drowning out the many students passing by and their glares. My mind was solely on Natalie. Did she receive the necklace? Would she be wearing it today? Did she even like it? Then, within the crowd of people, there she was. She was wearing a dress today. I've never seen her in one, but, I must admit she looked gorgeous. It was similar to what Beverly Marsh would usually wear.
'They're probably matching. It's what girls always do.' I thought.
I instantly caught sight of the gifted necklace and smiled.
"Aye, Pat, what are 'ya smilin' about hm?" Belch turned and chuckled jokingly. I shook my head lightly and nudged him in the arm, "Nothing fuckface, shut up!"
My attention had now returned back to her, she was across the hall from me now. Putting in the code to her locker and putting stuff inside, taking some stuff out too. I seemed to have watched her every movement. She just seemed different, I was obsessed with this girl for whatever reason but I didn't even have a problem with it.
