Natalie's POV:
It's already been a whole week since Patrick asked me to be his girlfriend. Crazy. I've started hanging with the gang too- Pat asked me again whether or not i wanted to be a part of it. This time, however, i said yes.

''You idiot! My God, people are gonna hate you- do you even realise what you've fuckin' done Natalie?!'' Cassie screamed through the phone.
''No?'' i replied.
''You've just made the worst fucking mistake of your life.''
''Why?''
She sighed and returned back to the phone.
''You're gonna get stuck in a loophole.''
''And what's so bad about that?'' I asked, beggining to grow irritated.
''It's not just that Natalie, there's so much more to it. You know exactly what they're like!'' She fumed.
''No, actually I don't. So tell me, what is it?''
''It'll be a loop of violence, arguments, sex, drinking, you know. The stuff they get up to.'' Cassie explained.
''You'll never be able to get out of it now that you're in it.''

Tuesday
School absolutely sucked. Patrick didn't tell me he wasn't coming in today so I was practically alone all day. Belch nor Henry came in either. Victor was in though, so i guess i was sorta alright. Cassie avoided me, just like she did yesterday. I mean, after that phone call on Sunday I don't blame her. It ended up in an argument between the two of us. She called me stupid, so i called her something and before you know it we're both avoiding eachother in the halls, in school...Just avoiding eachother completely in general. I already lost Sabrina, i couldn't loose her now too. But right now, my main focus is Beverley. She's my only close friend aside from Bowers, Belch and Vic i have left. Maintaining our bond is the most important thing, so i'm praying that Cassie doesn't say a word about me and Patrick. Of course it will come to light eventually. Even the fact me and patrick are together will be found out sooner or later. Obviously people will have their opinions on it, some might be happy most will be mad and upset. But i don't care, for now i just have to make sure evrything goes smoothly. I must hide it from my brother, Beverley and the losers. I mean, the losers are already suspicious of me. They're eyeing me like hawks. Plus they too are avoidant of me. They have been since Richie opened his huge mouth about the fact i went on a date with Patrick.

I came home and my mom was stood at the fence on the porch waiting for me and my brother. For once, i was the first one home. I decided to walk home with Vic today so that's probably why i was so early. He is a fast walker after all.
"Someone's early!" My mom laughed.
I ignored her and nudged past heading into the house.
"Sweetie? Aren't you going to say hi atleast? I am your mother." She whined.
"Some mom you are." I mumbled under my breath walking by.
I heard i gasp and footsteps following.
"What did you just say to me?!'' she gasped angrilly.
''Nothing.'' I snapped back, slamming the door behind me. I paced upstairs as fast as i could to avoid any contact with my mom or dad. Luckilly mom was more focused on Richie's arrival than arguing with me. My dad was in the living room reading the newspaper, minding his own business as per usual. He never normally asks how I am or how my day was, even though i like him more than mom it wouldn't hurt if he just asked me a question or two about how my day was every now and again.
