After Sage and Reese received phone calls from their parent, the house became tense. Reese questioned everything while Sage wanted to feed everyone. Romeo and Rafe tried to calm them both down. It wasn't working.

We heard a knock at the front door. Val answered as Mary and Devin entered the house. Sage and Reese greeted them while Val closed the door.

The girls started talking at once while Romeo and Rafe worked to wrangle them.

"Excuse, our girls. They're a little psycho," Rafe said.

Mary and Devin glanced at each other.

"Excuse, Rafe. I'm about to put my fist in his mouth," Reese said.

"Excuse you? I would like to see you try."

Reese rolled her eyes.

"Why don't you let Mary and Devin take off their coats and sit down before pouncing?" Pat asked.

Romeo and Rafe lifted the girls off their feet and carried them into the living room. Mary and Devin removed their coats as Val took them.

"Sorry about that. The girls are a little antsy," Val said.

"Oh, it's okay. We didn't want to tell the girls the news over the phone and thought it would be better in person," Mary said.

"Do you want anything to drink?" Val asked.

"A pop would be nice," Devin said.

Val nodded and grabbed two pops from the kitchen while Devin and Mary sat in the living room. Reese and Sage sat on the couch opposite them. Val returned with the pops and handed them to Devin and Mary.

"So, what did you want to tell us?" Sage asked.

"As you know, Devin and I have been dating," Mary said.

"Have? Wait. Are you not dating anymore?" Reese asked.

"No," Devin said.

Sage and Reese knitted their brows.

"We're not dating because I asked Mary to marry me," Devin finished.

Sage and Reese jumped to their feet. "What?!"

Devin and Mary nodded with smiles.

"Oh, my God!" The girls grabbed each other and jumped up and down.

Romeo and Rafe plopped down on the couch while Sage and Reese talked a mile a minute.

"What does cousin Ryker have to say about your engagement?" Casper asked.

Sage and Reese stopped and stared at Casper in disbelief.

"I'm sure the news will thrill him since he doesn't know about Romeo proposing to Sage," Casper added.

"Wait. What?" Mary asked.

"Oh, you didn't know about Romeo's impromptu proposal. Shocking," Casper said.

"We hadn't had a chance to tell the rest of the family yet," Sage said through gritted teeth.

"Well, I'm here. Shouldn't you tell me now?" Mary asked Sage.

Sage knitted her brows as she looked at Mary.

Devin looked at Reese. "Are you engaged, too?"

Reese's eyes widened. "No!"

Devin zeroed in on Rafe. "I hope your boyfriend would talk to me first before he asks for your hand."

Rafe slumped in his seat and didn't say anything.
