"Aahara. Aahara." Somebody called out but I ignored them, my sleep being my main priority.

"Aahara you have to get up Baby. It's time." The person said again, and somehow it felt like they were talking about something beyond sleep, something far more important, much more urgent.

I slowly opened my eyes, only to shut them again because of the light that seemed to be coming from everywhere, though I soon felt something shielding me from it. So, I opened my eyes again and saw somebody I thought I would never see again, my eyes widened, I opened my mouth to speak but no words came out. She looked the same as before, smiling the beautiful she had, making her wrinkles on the side of her eyes more prominent. Naani.

She looked completely different from the last time I saw her, she looked well rested and content. I felt tears in my eyes, I would have thought that she was real had it not been for the fact that I had witnessed her last moments myself. Had it not been for the fact that her body was cremated infront of my eyes, I still remembering screaming at the top of my lungs, begging them to stop but nobody listened.

"You are not real." The words left my mouth even before I could completely regain my voice. She didn't look fazed, her eyes showed amusement, she was amused that I understood the reality even in this unknown illusion.

"I knew my child was clever but I didn't expect this much." She said and went to caress my cheeck and I was surprised that I could actually feel her touch, the warmth, the care. Just like old times. I closed my eyes, enjoying whatever this was, as long as possible.

"Baby you can't sleep now. There are a lot of things that need to be done, all of which are your responsibility." She said and I opened my eyes. I couldn't understand what she meant and it must have shown on my face because she laughed.

"Confused?" She asked with a smile and I nodded.

"Baby I can't tell you everything but I heard you, I knew you would feel lost. So, that's why I came because I was afraid that you might break." She said and her forehead caressed to show all her wrinkles, it happened when she was worried.

"What are you?" I asked and she looked taken aback for a second but then gave me a gentle smile.

"Your imagination." She said and I frowned.

"So, you are a lie?" I asked making her gasp. Then she gave me a slight glare.

"Tell me young Lady why do I have to be a lie if I am your imagination?" She asked but isn't that what our imagination is? Something made out of nothing, and nothing meant nothing.

"Well then why don't you elaborate on what you are?" I said and she nodded. For something as uncommon as this, I was dealing with it far better than I had expected myself to, surprising myself greatly.

"Well let's take a little scientific approach. We define something by what it is made up of and what is it's function, I think I read that somewhere, I told you what I am made up of already. Now for my function, I am here to guide you for the sake of protecting your family. They need your help." She said, I snorted at the first sentence but one glare and I became seriously. My family? They need help?

"Baby you have to help them." She said and I was confused as her voice didn't sound like my Naani at all.

"How and what do they even need my help for?" I asked but she just smiled at me sadly.

"I can't tell you the future Baby. You have to figure it out yourself. I know you can." Again her voice felt different.

"Okay but will I see you again?" I asked with tears in my eyes but she just reflected my emotions, not giving me a reply.
