"Aahara what did you do?!" Aadinew Bhaiya (Aahara's second oldest brother) snapped but I didn't care what others thought.
Jay moved a little forward and the put his head on my feet, just like the tradition says, I closed my eyes as a tear made it's way down to my face. This is so inhuman. I told Jay to get up and he did, without question like he was suppose to do, then he went and stood behind me and bowed his head when I looked his way.
"Naana?" I looked up at him, he smiled, reassuring me and I closed my eyes, buring my face in his chest.
"Are you all really allowing this shit?!" Kal (Aahara fourth brother) roared but I didn't pay him any mind either.
"You just claimed a random guy who came out of nowhere?! Not to mention this son of bitch can be a traitor or simply useless!" He asked, more like snapped at me, finally my patience snapped.
"What?I should have left him alone? Like your parents did or slap him away just because he isn't worth your trust like you did to me?!" I snapped completely forgetting about the others in the room, once I finished speaking a lot of heads snapped in my direction.
"You slapped Chipmunk?" Ishir Bhiaya (Aakar's older son) asked, stepping forward, dangerously close to Kal who backed away, clearly scared.
"I asked you something!" Bhaiya slammed his hand on the wall and Kal nodded.
"When?" This time is was Chee (Aahara's youngest Uncle) and he didn't look pleased with the new information much like the others.
"Chee listen.." I tried but Akka (Aahara's oldest Mammu) gave me a meaningful look, making me freeze.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Naana asked and his tone scared the shit out of me.
"Naana.." I tried but Dad bet me to it.
"Aakar ask your son to back off, my son made a mistake and I will look into it, no children of mine will be bullied, especially not infront of me just because Ishir is family." Akka didn't say anything but the message was loud and clear, Ishir Bhiaya backed away.
"And you in my office once we reach home." Dad looked at Kal dead in the eye and he nodded his head.
"I think we all should call it a day, it's too late." Mumma said and everybody else nodded, it was only than that I noticed that witch wasn't present, well not that it mattered.
Dada came to take me from Naana's arms but I didn't let go.
"I wanna stay with Naana." I said and heard him sigh, Naana got up with me in his arms and walked towards his room with Jay right behind us.
"Exile you take the room on my right for tonight, Asha will have someone bring clothes and food for you." Naana said once we reached his door but Jay didn't move, I frowned but then realised that he was waiting for me.
"Yup do what Naana said, take rest. Good Night!" I said waving him good night and he nodded going to his room.
Once settled, I had a lot of questions that only Naana could answer and it looked like he was waiting for me to speak as well, so I sighed and began.
"Naana did I do the right thing?" I asked him, Naana was going through some file, he didn't even look up when he said.
"Your help wasn't wrong, but your claim is the one who is my main concern." Naana said and I whinced at the words 'Your claim'.
"What do you mean?" I asked Naana but he didn't say anything for a long time then finally sighed.
"He is not what you think, also we don't even know why he offered himself to you all of a sudden and as his owner you will have to take very harsh decisions, some that could hurt him physically as well. Will you be able to do it?" He asked and just stared at him.
