After sending off that last message to Warni, you loaded up your computer. Once you had you started a discord call. "Wassup," You greeted. Idly opening his stream with no audio.
"Fucking finally! God damn you take forever." Warni groaned. You saw chat light up happily at your arrival.
"Blame my shitty wifi, king." You yawned.
"What time is it over there?"
Shocked, you hesitated. He sounded worried. Aggressively worried, but that was just Warni.
"Uhh, like eleven? Why?"
"What the fuck? Why are you tired then? You're nocturnal."
"I had a busy day." You hummed.
"Tell me about it." Warni requested, but it sounded like a command. You knew him well enough by now though to read between the lines.
"I had this lecture at like eight AM so I only got, like, three hours-"
"You signed up for a class that goddamn early? Early for you, I mean, fucking vampire."
"I didn't want to. I need the credits for it to graduate and this is the only time slot open." You sighed. "I've been hating my life ever since it started."
"Fix your shitty sleep schedule then."
"Oh my gosh! I never would've thought about that!" You mocked.
"Shut the fuck up I'm trying to be supportive!"
You snorted. "I know, King. I'm teasing."
"Fuuuuck you're annoying." He groaned, putting a hand over his face and smiling.
"You're smiling. You love me."
"What the fuck?" He removed his hand and sat up straight. "You can see me?"
"I'm watching your stream, motherfucker. You can't hide from me."
"You're lurking my stream?" He laughed breathily. "Such a creep. Why the hell am I friends with you?"
"Because I'm your creep." You giggled in return. They rolled their eyes.
"What? You trying to date me or something shithead?"
"Maybe, what's it to you, motherfucker?"
There was silence. Then you both bursted out laughing.
The night was good after that. You and Warni hung out and played Fall Guys for a solid two hours. Then he demanded you go to bed, and you promised you'd try at least.
