Jianyu heard Amon coming, though it was rare somebody didn't. So she put the pillow aside curiously. Amon sounded angry, particularly so. She'd just stepped outside your room when Amon had stormed past.

With a soft furrow of her brows, Jianyu watched him go down the hall. Only to realize he was headed straight for her room. With a sharp gasp, Jianyu went chasing. "What are you doing?!" She shrieked.

Amon stood before Jianyu's door as she scraped at his arm. Not that she did any damage. If Amon was a mountain, Jianyu was a mere dirt pile in comparison. "I'm going to call you out, asshole." Amon snapped. "(Y/n)'s mad because of you and your bullshit!"

And oh, how he loathed it. To see you angry. It set his bones ablaze, muscles twitching to destroy. To make you feel better in the only way he knew how— beating the issue into submission.

... Unfortunately, he knew the violence would probably do more harm than good. Right now anyways. Jianyu would go crying to you, and he'd be made out to be the monster. Who knows, it might even trigger you. He didn't want that. Amon didn't want to remind you of that bastard ex of yours.

No, you deserved all the happiness in the world. Amon would do anything to protect that happiness of yours.

"What the hell are you going on about?!" Jianyu cried in return.

Amon ripped her door open, shrugging his arm just enough to send Jianyu tumbling back. She was quite lucky they knew how to control himself. Especially when his gaze fell upon her luggage sitting right there.

"They were right." He breathed. "You... Faked it all." Amon was so fucking angry his brain couldn't comprehend it. They desperately wanted to tear Jianyu limb from limb. But by the time Amon looked over, Jianyu was gone.

He knew exactly what she was running off to do. It was pretty obvious, even to him. Amon crossed his arms over his broad chest and leant back.

May as well wait. The reckoning would come.

Your reckoning would come.
