"Jianyu? Jia?" You knocked gently on her door, pressing your ear to it. "Are you okay? Dal said you wouldn't let him in..."

"Go away, (Y/n)!" Jianyu whined, and you could hear that she was sobbing.

"Why? What's wrong?"

"I-It's all gone!"

Hesitantly, you asked, "Can I come in? Please?"

There was silence, then a shuffling. You backed away from the door, and there stood Jianyu. It was then that you realized you'd never seen Jianyu without makeup like you did now, not dressed down.

"What happened?" You asked her.

"My luggage is gone!" She wiped tears from her eyes frantically. "Someone took it!"

Someone took them? That didn't make sense. "But it's just us here." You pointed out.

"I know that!" Jianyu sniffled. She looked so sad it hurt your heart in return. So you gently reached your hands out to swipe away tears. Jianyu leant into your touch. "I'm not going to the con! I have nothing to wear!"

You furrowed your brows and pursed your lips. What could you do to help this? "I don't have any makeup you could borrow, maybe my clothes? I know they aren't really your style, but you make everything look good." A small laugh left your lips at that last part.

Why the hell did you have such attractive friends?

"Then after all of our con stuff is over today, we could shop for clothes and makeup to get you through the trip."

Jianyu stared at you. The game plan was just as surprising as you offering her your own clothes. This could definitely work. Maybe, if she wore your clothes and then you wore them, the audience would begin making assumptions!

"Thank you, (Y/n). You're the best." Jianyu hugged you, and it brought a smile to your face.

"Anytime. You're amazing, Jia. One of my best friends."

Jianyu had calmed down, so you led her to your room. You helped her pick out something to wear and then went to go see the others.

The short, frail girl stood there looking around. While this room was yours, it also wasn't. Gosh, she'd love to see your actual room some day.

Jianyu got dressed and did herself up as best as she could. Maybe she could ask Damshi for some makeup? Ugh, no, never mind. She hated asking them for anything. Damshi always held it over her head.

Now she was just pissed off.

In her anger, Jianyu's gaze fell over to your bed. This wasn't really your room, so it wouldn't really smell like you... But maybe the pillow would?

Picking up the pillow and bringing it into her arms, Jianyu buried her nose into it. Taking a deep breath. It mostly smelled of laundry detergent, but there was the faint smell of you. And that was enough.

Jianyu felt much better!
