43. what?

1 1/2 months later

Julie's pov.
I wake up because of the bus driving into a big curve. Ugh I'll never get used to it. I open the curtain next to my bed, i see a beautiful sunrise we are driving over a bridge now and it looks amazing so I take my phone and send a picture to Flynn, it's only 5:30am but I get out if bed and carefully walk to the kitchen to get a bottle of water. Ugh I hate driving with the bus. I lean with the back to the kitchen cabinet and sigh. Don't get me wrong the tour has been AMAZING! But I can't wait to sleep in my own bed again and not in a tour bus or in a hotel.
Luke walks in and gives me a kiss on my forehead.
"Good morning beautiful" he says and he gets himself a coffee.
"Want some too?" He asks.
"No thanks"
"Okay" he says and i sit down next to him on the table. He takes my hands and smiles at me.
"We'll be home in a few weeks" he says and I nod. He knows how much I hate driving with a bus. Reggie walks in with Rose in his arms and he sits next to me. Rose points her hands on me and I take her.
"Thanks Reg" I say to him and he pats Rose's head before he gets a cup of coffee.
"Mamamamama" she says and I smile at her.
"Say dada" Luke says.
"Mama"
"No dada!" He complains.
"MAMA!" She screams right into his face. Me and Reggie laugh at Luke,his face is priceless.
"She doesn't like me anymore" he says and tickles Rose.
"Mama mama mama" she continues yelling and Luke takes her in his arms and kisses her face. She can't stop giggeling and screaming. So cute. Luke truly is the best father. Reggie gets a sandwich and sits next to Luke.
"Ew how can you eat that at 6 in the morning!?" Luke complains and Rose steals a slice of cheese. I get up and warm up a bottle for Rose as I feel someone hugging my leg. It's Dahlia.
"Good morning Dahlia" I say and pat her head and she smiles at me.
"Are you hungry?" I ask and she nods.
So I slice up some apples and bananas and give her the plate. She sits down next to Reggie and she gets a bite of his sandwich. Reggie is so cute around kids. Flynn texted me that they're missing him and Reggie does too even though he won't show it to us he is really homesick.
I sit down and take a few sips from my tea.

A few hours later we finished out performance and fall into bed in a hotel. I'm so exhausted. It was great but I'm so tired. But i manage to get up and take a shower while Luke watches the kids. I clean my face and brush my teeth and I also help Dahlia brush her teeth and hair while Luke does the same with Rose. I get them in bed and read a book about fairys. Dahlia falls asleep super fast and Rose fell asleep in Luke's arms he lays her next to Dahlia in the bed and we also fall in our bed. Luke plays with my hair while I watch his face.
"I love you" I say and he kisses my nose.
"I love you too"
I look into his beautiful green eyes and he does the same. After a while I fall asleep.

I wake up and hear Luke talking with Dahlia.
"Here you go dahli" he says and I sit up and see them eating breakfast on the bed. My stomach makes a hungry noise and I get up and sit next to Dahlia she smiles at me and Luke gives me a plate with scrambled eggs and a pancake.
"Thank you" I say and he gives me a kiss and sits infront of me and dahlia with Rose in his arms. We all eat breakfast and after that we decide to go look around the city. Dahlia is super excited and we leave the hotel with a super good mood. Feels like vacation. We find a sea museum and Dahlia jumps around super excited to see sea turtles. We walk around and see fishes and seashells, dahlia and Rose love it.
"Turtle" Dahlia yells and runs to them. Aww so cute. I sit down with Rose in my lap on a bench. I take a few sips from my water bottle and sit Rose in her trolley. Dahlia and Luke sit next to us and we watch the turtles.
"Look mommy!" She points at a jellyfish and we continue walking through the museum for the rest of the day.

Luke's pov.
After we get back from the museum I get a call from Rily.

"Hello Luke?
"Hi Rily what's up?
"Sorry we have to cancel the rest of the tour!
"Wait what! Why?
"Something went wrong with the tickets and the location didn't work out or something. I'll give you more information later. I'm so sorry. You guys will drive home in 2 hours. Bye.

"What's wrong?" Julid asks and I sigh.
"The tour got canceled and we go home in 2 hours" I see the shook on Julie's face.
We pack everything up and get in the bus. Alex and Reggie look freaked out and sad. We all are sad. We would've had 6 more shows. But on the otherside we are excited for our home and to see our family's.

Julie's pov.
Finally home! I take a deep breath. It smells like home in our new house. We only slept here for a week and then was the tour. But it already feels like home. It's 4am and I carry Rose in her crib. And Luke takes Dahlia in her bed. I put my pj's on and jump into out new big bed. Luke laughs and does the same.
"Finally my bed" he sighs and turns over to look into my eyes.
"The tour was amazing but I'm glad we are home now" I tell him and he nods and gives me a goodnight kiss.
"Night my love" he says and turns the light of. I close my eyes and fall asleep within seconds.

I wake up because something pulls my hair. I open my eyes and see Rose standing infront of me and giggles. I sit up and look over to my right side Luke is deep asleep.
"How the actual hell did you get out your crib?" I ask and she laughs. I take her and walk into her room. And I see Dahlia sleeping in the crib like a little baby again.
"Wait ain't no way we did that" I laugh and myself. Me and Luke must've completely switched the girls or something.We were so tired. I laugh and walk with Rose downstairs to make her a bottle. It's already 11am no wonder Rose got out of the room. She never slept so long. I sit her in her high chair and get some fruits for her to eat while the bottle heats up.
*ding dong ding* tue Doorbell rings and I open up the door and see Alex.
"Hey Alex! What are you doing here?" I ask and point him to sit down to the desk.
"Want some coffee?" I ask and he nods. Something is not right. I give him thr cup and he takes a sip and I sit next to him.
"You okay Al?"
"I guess not"
"Why what happend?" I ask.
"They said no" Oh I know what he means, he told me a few months ago that he and Willie want to adopt a baby.
"I'm so sorry" I put my hand on his and he sighs.
"Allalalalalala" Rose sings and I take her out of her chair and she walks to Alex who takes her in his lab.
"We were so close" he says.
"I'm sorry it will work out someday" I explain.
"I really hope"
"Look I bet, no I know that there is waiting a beautiful baby for you and Willie out there in this world, it just takes time to find eachother" I say.
"Thanks Jules" he gives me a smile.
"Anyway, how about you? Any baby news?" He asks and pats Rose's head.
"Nothing" I say.
"Sure?"
"Completely 100% sure Alex. It just won't work again" I sigh.
"Don't give up"
"I already did to be honest. Look I have a 10 to 5% change to get pregnant again." I explain.
"Still a change" he says.
"Yeah I know but I don't know. We've tried a lot of times and then I take a test it's a big negative and I cry for 3 days straight again. It's so depressing." I explain and he pats my hand.
"I bet you will get pregnant again"
"Who says that?"
"My feeling" he says and I laugh.
"Your feeling?" I ask and giggle.
"Hey don't laugh!" He complains. I notice Dahlia and Luke come downstairs.
"Alessss" Dahlia runs and hugs him.
"Hey Dahli" he says.
"Hey man" Luke gives him a hug. They act like we haven't just seen eachother yesterday.
"What's up?" Luke sits next to me and Dahlia starts playing with her toys.
"Nothing" he lies. I know that I'm the only one who knows about the adoption process and it will be like that for a while. They want to surprise the others later when they found a child.
"Okay" he says and takes Rose who points her arms at Luke.
"Okay gotta go. Thanks Julie" and he leaves the house.
