23. marry me?

Julie's pov.
It's a few months since I met Carla for the first time we're now very good friends and she is coming over today again for a play date. She really really wanted to come over. And I'm super excited again. I'm laying in my bed with Dahlia and I read a book to her. She just turned 1 and I can't believe it. She points at a picture of a dog.
"Wuff wuff" she says.
"Yes good job baby" I say.
*ding dong*
"Tessa is here" I say. I take Dahlia and we walk downstairs to open up the door.
"Hiii" I say. Carla gives me a hug and pats Dahlias head. We go to the living room and watch our daughters play. Dahlia can now almost walk or she tries it. Tessa and Dahlia got good friends and they love play with eachother. I walk to the kitchen to make us some coffee. Luke isn't here today he had to help Reggie with something. I walk back with 2 cups of coffee and give it to Carla.
"Thanks" she says.
We talk and play with the kids for a while until Carla asked if we want to go to the beach, we've never done that but I love the beach so i said yes. So now I'm sitting woth Dahlia on a blanket in the sand waiting for Carla and Tessa she wanted to buy some lemonade even though i took a waterbottle with us. I look at the ocean, it's beautiful and the sun almost goes down. Where is Carla it's been almost 30min. Dahlia tries to eat sand so i sit her in my lap. And she cuddles into my chest. I rub over her head.
"Julie!" I turn around and see Luke? Huh?
"Luke? What are you doing here?" I stand up with Dahlia in my arms.
"Oh i uhm asked Carla where you are so i came here" he says.
"Oh okay, I'm glad you're here i got bored. Have you seen Carla?" I ask him.
"Uhm no" he looks around. Luke takes my hand and smiles at me. Somethings off.
"What did you do?" I ask.
"What nothing" he nervously says.
Mhm?
"Turn around I'm gonna take a picture with you and Dahlia with the sunset." Luke takes his phone out of his pocket.
"Wouldn't it be nice if we smile at the camera?" I ask. He's acting weird.
"No i swear it's gonna look good" he turns me around. Oh well. I look with dahlia at the ocean. She turns around and looks over my shoulder.
"Daddy!" She says.
"Turn around honey." I hear Luke say. Dahlia starts to play with my hair.
"Okay Turn around!" Luke says.
I turn around and see Luke kneeling down infront of me. I give him a weird look? What the hell is he doin? I take Dahlia on the ground. And i watch Luke taking a ring out of his pocket-wait what? He's not gonna engage me isn't he?
"Luke?" I ask.
"My beautiful Julie Molina! Do you want to marry me?" He asks. I-I what!
"Of course" I hug him and start crying. Omg! Dahlia laughs and i see Carla walkong up to us with Tessa. Luke gives me a big kiss. And puts the ring on my finger.
"Congratulations!" Carla yells she hugs me and Luke.
"Let me guess it was all planned out?" I ask.
"Yep!" Carla gives Luke a high five.
I still can't believe it ahhh! Carla gives me a tissue.
Luke takes my hand and i take Dahlia and we walk to the water. It's nice and warm. We all 3 walk around on the beach. Or dahlia is trying to walk. Luke takes her and swings her around. She laughs and so do i. My happy little family. After a while Dahlia and Tessa gor tired so we walk back and Carla drives home. I'm in Dahlias nursery trying to put her to sleep. I hold her on my arms and sing a song till she closes her eyes and i lay her in her bed. I walk out of the room and see Luke laying in our bed watching me. I lay next to him and he cuddles into me. I give him a big kiss.
"I love you" I whisper.
"I love you too so muchhh" he says.
He takes my chin and kisses me. I get butterflys in my chest.
"I wanna spend the rest of my life with you Julie Molina." He whispers.
"Haha me too dork" i laugh.
He takes my hand and looks at me.
"Okay this might be a little fast but since Dahlia is a year now. And i love you so much and I want our family to get bigger! I wanna have another baby!" He says with puppy eyes.
"Oh gosh!" I laugh. He looks so cute.
"Is that a yes?" He asks.
"Luke. I don't know." I say.
"No rush sorry i was a little to-" I kiss him and whisper" yes let's try for another one"
