24. trip & surprises

Julie's pov.
It's been a few months since Luke and me got engaged. And we are now planning our wedding. Yesterday we sended out the wedding invitations. I'm so excited.
Since Luke and me want another little one in our family we tried so many times but it wouldn't work. We haven't told anyone that we're trying. But since it's not working anyway i have no need to tell anyone. I lay in bed and stare at the wall. I feel Luke moving and he lays his arm around me.
"What are you thinking babe?" He asks.
"I don't know" I lie.
"Don't stress yourself, it's gonna work when the time has come" he gives me a kiss and gets up to get Dahlia because she's crying. Luke comes back with Dahlia and she crawls over the bed to me she hugs me. And i snuggle into her "hahahah" she laughs. We all 3 lay in bed and cuddle till it's time to get out of bed. I get ready and walk downstairs with Dahlia. I cut her a banana and make come cereal for me. Luke left the house a few minutes ago for work. He opend up his own guitar shop with a stage to perform. We actually performed there a few weeks ago as a band again. It was beautiful. Dahlia loved it. I sit down on the table and we eat our breakfast. After that i make the dishes and vacuum the floor. Around Lunchtime i pack a few things and walk with Dahlia to the park. I take her out of the trolley and sit down on the grass. She trys to walk a few steps. So cutee.
Dahlia got bored after about 2 hours so we walked back home. And I make some lunch now. Just some chicken and vegetables. I put everything on a plate and me and Dahlia enjoy our food. I clean up after and walk with Dahlia upstairs for her nap. I rock her around and sing of course. She falls asleep soon and i walk downstairs to clean up the living room. I put Dahlias toys away and vacuum everything. I hear the door open and Luke walks in.
"Hey hun" he gives me a kiss.
"Hi how was work?" I ask.
"Great" he puts his things away and hugs me.
I lean my head on his shoulder. He kisses my neck.
"Is Dahlia sleeping?" He asks.
"Yep she should wake up soon" and as soon as I said that we hear her crying. Luke walks upstairs and i decide to make a cake.

Luke's pov.
"Hello my little flower" i see Dahlia smiling at me. Ohw she stinks.
"You little stinky bear" I lay her on the changing table and change her. She laughs at me. I sit her on my shoulders and we walk downstairs. She giggles. Dahlia loves my shoulder rides downstairs. We run around kitchen and watch Julie bake. I sit Dahlia on the kitchen corner and we help. After that is done i take her from the corner and we 3 walk into the living room to play.
"Gagaggagagga daddddyyyy" she yells. I help her walk around. She falls down and laughs at me.
"Why are you always laugh at me?" I ask.
"Jahajajakkalala" she mumbles and hugs me. I lay on my back and we cuddle. I pat her head. Such a cutie.
She snuggles into my chest and i guve her a kiss on her nose. She starts laughing. I kiss her nose again and she laughs even more.

Julie's pov.
I lay on the couch and watch my two favorite people in this world play together. Luke is so good with kids and i love seeing him so happy. I stand up and walk to the kitchen to put the cake out of the Ofen. Mhm smells so good.
*ring ring* Flynn calls me.
"Hello girl!"
"Hi Flynn whats up?"
"Pack your things were going on a trip only us two"
"Wait what the hell are talking about?"
"I invite you for a trip. To get some relaxing days. We leave on Thursday!"
"Only us 2? What about Dahlia?"
"I asked Luke. It's okay he doesn't have to work on this days. "
"Oh okay"
"I'll text u the details later, im so excited!"
I hang up and walk to the living room.
"Why didn't you tell me that Flynn wants to go for a trip with me?" I ask.
"She wanted to surprise you" Luke hands Dahlia a toy.
"Don't worry Julie, i got this!" He says.

3 days later.

Julie's pov.
It's 4 in the morning and I say goodbye to Dahlia, she's still sleeping but i give her a kiss and walk out of the room. I can't leave her and Luke. I'm gonna miss them too much.
"Don't worry hun. I can do this. And you should relax. Okay?" Luke gives me a kiss and we walk downstairs. Flynn is already waiting for me in the car. I hug him for goodbye. And walk up to Flynns car.
"Heyy Bestie!!" She laughs.
"Oh gosh how can you be so excited at 4 in the morning!" I ask her.
"Girl this is gonna be the best trip of our lives!" She starts the car. We have a 5 hours drive before us. I literally fall asleep the first 30min. U wake up after about 2 hours feeling extremely nauseous.
"Can we stop for a second?" I ask Flynn she drives to a parking lot and i open up the door and throw up. Ewww oh no.
"Oh no" Flynn pats my back. And gives me some water.
"Better?" She asks with a worried look.
"I guess" I take a deep breath. I must've gotten car sick. We continue driving and i fall asleep.
I wake up in the parking lot of the hotel.
"Good morning sleepy head!" Flynn says.
"I'm so sorry, we should've switched" I say.
"Don't worry i did good." She says.
We walk into the hotel and check in.
The room is absolutely fantastic. I sit down on the bed.
"Wow incredible" I say. We have a big bed and a beautiful view to the beach.
"Oh yesss!" She yells. We unpack our things and lay in bed talking.
"Do you feel better?" Flynn asks.
"Yeah, probably just car sick" I explain.
"Okay good! Wanna go to the spa?" She asks.
"Sure" I say and we walk downstairs to the spa resort. Me and Flynn decide for a massage. And it was amazing. We walk back in our room fully relaxed. I take a shower and we eat some dinner that got delivered to our room. I went to bed Super early because I'm super tired.
I wake up the next day with terrible head ache. Flynn is already up and ready for the day I grab my pillow and hid underneath.
"Girl come on! We got a lot of things to do for today" she takes away my pillow.
"Noo" I complain. I sit up and massage my forehead.
"What's wrong?" She sits next to me.
"I have a terrible head ache" i tell her.
"Oh no" she gives me a glass of water.
"Thanks" I sigh why does that happen to me on vacation.
"Is it okay if i stay here today" I ask.
"I stay here too" she lays next to me.
I have the best friend in the world. We get deliverd our breakfast and we watch a movie. My head ache went away but my tummy is hurting now. Maybe there was something in the food.
"You alright?" Flynn asks. I jump out of bed and throw up in the toilet.
Flynn hold back my hair.
"Oh Julie! What's wrong?" She gives me a tissue.
"I think i maybe got food poison or something" I say.
"You think we should call a doctor?" Flynn asks.
"I don't know" i clean my hands and sit on the bed. Flynn looks worried.
I sigh what if- wait! That could be! What if I'm pregnant. I mean it could be!
"Is there a store near the hotel?" I ask Flynn.
"Uh yes right next to the hotel" she says.
"I'll be back soon" I grab my things and leave Flynn in the room. I walk to the store buy a pregnancy test and walk back.
Flynn jumps our of bed.
"Got the goods!" I hold the test in my hands. I see Flynns surprise.
"Girl! You think- " she hugs me.
"We'll see" I walk into the bathroom and pee in a cup. I take the test and now it's time to wait. Me and Flynn sit in the bathroom floor.
"All of that reminds me when i first found out i was pregnant." I tell her. She looks at me.
"I was super scared" I say.
"Me too Julie me too, but look at you you're the best mom to Dahlia." She says. I smile at her and the alarm goes off.
"Okay ready? 1.....

- positive!!" I yell.
"Girl I'm soooo happy for you!" Flynn and me jump around the room. We clean our wet faces from crying and we sit on the bed.
I hold the test in my hands. I can't believe it finally worked.
I tell Flynn about the struggle and she hugs me again.
I look at my phone and see that Luke sended me a picture of Dahlia playing.

"Look at my baby" I cry again. I miss her so much and Luke too of course.
"Awww" Flynn says.
We spend the rest of the trip relaxing in the spa and i literally threw up every day. I came home at 1pm and say goodbye to Flynn. I open the door and Luke runs to hug me with Dahlia in his arms.
"Mamamama" she mumbles. I give her a big kiss.
"We missed you" Luke kisses me.
"I missed you too" i say. I take Dahlia and she snuggles into my chest. I pat her back and kiss her head.
"I'm so sorry but i have to go to work, something happend with the electricity and they need me. We talk later." Luke gives me a kiss and he leaves the house. I laugh and take Dahlia with me for a nap. We both lay in my bed and cuddle.
I wake up after 1 hour and get ready to surprise Luke. I walk downstairs with Dahlia. I lay the pregnancy test and a jumper and shoes on the kitchen corner.

I'm kinda nervous. Now it's time to wait. After 20min i hear the front door open. I walk to Luke.
"Closer your eyes" I say. He looks super confused but does what i say. I take his hand and walk with him and Dahlia to the kitchen. Right infront of him is rhe announcement.
"Open your eyes!" I tell him. Luke opens his eyes and stares at the baby jumper. His mouth drops and I see tears in his face. He gives me a big hug and i start crying too. He kisses me.
"I-i wow" he kisses me again.
"I found out at the trip because i wasn't feeling well" i explain.
Dahlia wants in my arms so i take her.
"You're gonna be big sister Dahlia" Luke kisses Dahlias nose. She giggles. And we laugh too.
