Julie's pov. Today is Luke's birthday and we decided to have a little barbecue evening with our friends and family. I woke up early to get everything ready. I made some garlic bread and salads. I look at the clock it's 9am and no one is awake except me. I put the bread in the oven and cut some lemons for a lemonade. I was just about to fill the lemonade glass thingi with water and lemon juice as I hear Dahlia walk downstairs with Rose. "Good morning girls" I say and give them a kiss. "I woke Rose up!" Dahlia says. "Wow thank you my big girl" and she hugs me. Dahlia is just a cutie. "What are you doing mommy!" She asks and looks at the lemons. "I make lemonade for daddy's birthday party" I explain. "Yum" "Do you want to help me?" I ask and she nods and sits on the bar chair. "You can give the lemons in the glass" I tell her and she does what I say. After we finished we get ready for the day. "Let's go wake daddy" I say and we walk in the room. "Okay 1..2...3 "Happy birthday to youuu happy birthday too youu happy birthday daddyyyy happy birthday to youuu" we all 3 sing and Luke sits up and enjoys the concert and the girls jump on the bed and hug Luke. "Thank you it was beautiful" he says and gives us all a kiss. "Here daddy my present!" Dahlia gives him a drawing. "Aw it's beautiful thank you dahlia!" He says and Rose and me give him a box. Luke gets some new clothes and a picture frame with all of us in. "Thank you" Luke says and smiles.
After a while we all walk downstairs. "Wow you already did most of the party planning" Luke says as he sees the bread and the decoration in the garden. "I woke up extra early" i say proud. "Thanks hun but you shouldn't do too much" he says and puts his hand on my back. "I'm fine. I'ddo anythingfod my birthdayboyyy" I say and he gives me a kiss and we wait for the guests.

"Hey birthday boyyy" I turn around and see Emily and Mitch hugging Luke. "Thanks mom" he says and takes my hand. "Hi Julie" they both hug me. "Wow looks amazing" Mitch says and looks around the garden.
Everyone is here to celebrate it's amazing. The weather is hot and the BBQ tastes so good. I sit next to Flynn and we both eat like a hungry wolf. "Omg I think I'm gonna explode soon" I say and Flynn laughs. "Me too girl!" She says. "Now time for cakeee" Emily walks in with a strawberry cake. Luke's favorite. We all sing happy birthday and eat the cake. "Okay but now I'm full" Flynn says and I laugh and get up to get some lemonade. "Sit down I got you!" Luke says and he gets me a lemonade. "Thanks Luke" I smile but shake my head. "You've done so much today" he says and takes my hand.
Luke's pov. I watch Reggie running with Theo, Rose and Dahlia around the garden. So cute. "Daddy play with us!" Dahlia takes my hand and runs with me away from Reggie and Theo. "Faster faster daddy" We run and run and run till we get caught from Theo. I notice Rose crying but julie already takes care if her. "What happend?" I ask. "A bee" Julie says and walks inside with mom.
Julie's pov. "It's okay baby it's okay" I try to calm Rose down. I sit her on the kitchen cabinet and Emily gets a cool pad. "Poor Rosie" she says and pats her head. She snuggles into me crying really bad so I take her with me on the couch. "It's okay Rosie" I say and kiss her nose. She lays on my chest and I rub her back. Poor baby. I see her eyes close and I feel mine get heavy too. Just a little nap.
Luke's pov. I walk in the kitchen to look after Rose. Mom is cleaning some dishes. "You don't have to do that mom" i say and she smiles at me. "It's okay" "Where are Julie and Rose?" I ask "Sleeping on the couch" I laugh and take a look. Aww so cutee. I take a picture and walk back into the garden.
Julie's pov. I wake up because of something cold in my face. It's the cool pad. I take it out of my face and see Rose laughing. Good that she is okay again. "Haha Rosie!" I laugh and get up with her on my hip. I see Flynn sitting on the bar chair drinking iced water. "You okay?" I ask. "Sure. It's just so hot outside" she says. "Yes it makes me even more tired" I tell her and she nods. Rose wants on the floor so I let her run outside in the garden again. "Your dad and Carlos went home. I should say bye to you from them" "Oh I totally missed that. But thanks" I say and sit next to her and get me some water too. "So how is the little girl?" I ask her and she smiles. "She is doing great! Super active and has hiccups every day about 3 times" she laughs and I giggle too. "What about your girl?" She asks and I rub over my belly. "She is doing so amazing. But she kicks me in my rips and it hurts" "Oh I know how that feels" we laugh and continues talking till all of the guests left and it's getting dark outside. I clean the table in the garden and put everything away. Ugh my back is killing me. "Okay we can do the rest tomorrow" Luke says and we walk back inside. Emily did the most of the cleaning. She is so nice. We walk upstairs with the kids and get them ready for bed. After that I fall in bed Super tired but happy. It was a great day.
