After explaining and getting to Phoenix Drop
Kai’s POV
They explained everything and found out that the brown-haired guy was named Laurence. So Garroth and Laurence, nice names. Their town is nice. They brought me to a purple and white house. Laurence knocked on the door and a woman with raven hair and amber eyes.
“Lord Aphmau we are back, did you miss us beautiful.”
“Yes, I missed Garroth,” she said. Laurence pouted but got back on topic.
“Uhh well we found this guy next to the river and thought you would like to meet him. He's pretty good at fighting; he got Garroth off of him." She looks at Garroth and I.
“Is it true Garroth,” he nods. “Well nice to meet you, I’m Aphmau and your name is…” I look at her.
“First can you tell them to get the cuffs off of me” she told them to do it and they did. “I’m Kai”
“Nice to meet you Kai.”
“You too,” they all look at me like they're waiting for something to happen “why are you guys staring at me.”
“Well are you going to show us your face,” Laurence said pointing to my helm.
“I’m sorry but I am not comfortable with showing my face and if you have a problem with it I’ll-,”
"No it's fine, I understand, Garroth doesn't like to show his to people he just met too, so you probably won't see his face for a bit," Aphmau said understandingly.
“Yea it’s understandable why you don’t want to show your face to people you don’t trust. I’m the same way.” Garroth said
“Well I better get going.”
“Why, you can stay here if you want,” Aph said.
“No I can’t I have to go before Zane-”
“What does Zane have to do with you? Are you working for Zane or something,” she asked, she looked like she was about to attack me.
“What no, I would rather die than work for him or any of the Ro'meave.”
“Then what does Zane have to do with anything?”
“H-he’s trying to kill me for something my father did and I just don’t trust anyone to say anymore if that’s understandable.”
“Of course last time Zane was here he turned one of the little ones into a shadow knight kind of and she’s down stairs with some friends trying to get her back to her normal size.”
“Oh that’s terrible I’m sorry to hear that well I hope you can help her.”
“You don’t have to worry about Zane, we are prepared for him if he comes and tries to do anything.”
“Ok but where will I live?”
“You can either stay with the guards or you can build a house somewhere.”
“I’ll build a house. I’m really good at it.”
“Ok well I’ll see you later then, bye.”
“Bye,” and with that I left to go build my house.
