Chapter 8

After explaining
Kai's POV

  "Oh, my Irene I'm so sorry Kai I didn't know."

  "It's ok, well now you know."

  "Yeah, well now you guys may go do what you need to do." We all nod and leave before I leave. I look at Aphmau after the boys leave.

  "Hey what's going on between you and Aaron." As I say that she starts blushing.

  "W-what do you mean?"
  "Well first of all this morning I saw Aaron smirk as you said you wanted to talk to him a bit and you're blushing when I brought it up, so."

  "Aaron and I are seeing each other, so is Dante and KC along with Travis and Katelyn. I said it like that since they don't like the others knowing but they told me, more like I found out so yeah."

  "Makes sense, don't worry I won't tell anyone as long as you don't tell anyone what I told you at least until I'm ready."

  "Thanks, and I won't, don't worry about it and watch out for Laurence." I look at her confused. "He's a casanova so be prepared." I nod and I do a little bow and put my helmet on and leave.

A little bit later

After patrol I go to my house and see Laurence standing there.

  "Hey?"

  "Hey Kai, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out for a bit."

  "Um sure just give me a sec." He nods and I go inside and get ready. When I get to the door I stop. Someone is having a conversation. I listen in and hear it's Garroth and Laurence.

  "What are you doing here Laurence."
  "I'm going to hang out with Kai. What are you doing here?"

  "I'm here to hang out with her too."

  "Well, I asked her first so ha."

  "Well, I don't care, you know I like her." Garroth likes me.

  "Well, you know I like her too." They both like me.

  "You just like her for her looks just like Aphmau."

  "No, I liked her before I found out she's a girl but I'm not gay as far as I know."

  "Yeah same, she is really fun to hang out with even as a boy." At this point I decide to walk out the door and scare them.

  "Aww that's really sweet you guys." They both look at me in surprise.

  "O-oh d-did you h-hear that." I nod and laugh at them.

  "Well, do you like one of us that way?" Laurence says with a small smile and blush. I shake my head no and they both look down.

  "I'm sorry but I would like to get to know you both better before I decide right now you both are just friends to me."

  "So, in the future maybe." Laurence says, looking at me. I nod and they both smile. "Well, shall we go and hang out now." I nod and point to Garroth.

  "Garroth, you can come too if you want." He smiles and looks at Laurence and sticks his tongue out. Laurence does the same thing. I laugh and shake my head. "You both act like children, you know that." They look at each other then at me and laugh.

  "I guess we do at times," Garroth says with a smile.

  "It's only because we're best friends," Laurence says with a smile. We all look at each other and decide to head off.
