Chapter 17

Kai's POV
I get up when I hear the boys start moving around.
  “Morning Kai.”
  “Morning, is it really time to go now?”
  “Almost Lord Aphmau is still asleep so you can sleep a little longer if you want.” I shake my head.
  “No, if I don’t get up now I won’t get up when it’s time to go.” Garroth bends down and offers his hand which I accept. I get up and we go outside to see Laurence just chilling out there. “Where’s Aaron, he wasn’t in his sleeping bag when I got up?”
  “I’m pretty sure he’s in the castle somewhere.” I nod in response. “So how’d you sleep last night?”
  “I slept fine. I just woke up when I heard fighting. What was that about?” They both look away from me. “Was it about me?” I ask sadly. They both look back at me with shock.
  “What, no, why would we fight about you in that way?”
  “The only reason we would ever fight about you is who loves you more and it wouldn’t be with our swords.” I look down thinking they’re lying to protect me. I feel someone pin me to the tree. I look up expecting Laurence but it’s Garroth.
  “Look at me, we would never fight about you with that much violence. Don’t ever think we would. We both may love you but we wouldn’t kill each other because of you. So please don’t be sad.” Garroth pulls off his helmet to show he is serious and a little sad that I would think that. Then before I can even react he kisses me. He surprises both Laurence and I. I give in and kiss back. A moment later we pull apart for air. I look at him in confusion and he looks at me. He smirks and I look down. “You look so cute when you blush~.” He puts his hand under my chin and makes me look at him. He looks at Laurence. “What do you think?” He looks a little annoyed but answers nonetheless.
  “Yeah, so cute.” His anger leaves and gets replace with a smirk. He pushes Garroth out of the way. “Let me show you how it’s done.” He kisses me and we eventually pull apart. He looks back at Garroth. “That’s how you do it.” I slide down the tree and just sit there blushing. They both look at me and laugh. They sit down next to me and help me calm down.
  “Why would you both kiss me like that!?”
  “Heat of the moment.”
  “Didn’t want Garroth to be ahead of me.” I nod and lean my head against the tree. “Kai you can’t lie, you like that we kissed you.” I don’t say anything. “You’re not denying it, sooo.”
  “Fine, yes I like that you two kissed me ok.” They both smirk.
  “Should we kiss you again?” They both say in unison. I blush and look down. They both laugh.
  “Y-yes.” I mumble.
  “What did you say?”
  “Yes.” I say again a little louder.
  “Kai speak up please.”
  “Yes ok I wouldn’t mind if you guys kissed me again?” They both look at me. ‘I won’t lie, I liked, no loved when they kissed me, but why. They look at each other then at me. Garroth moves closer but before anything happens. Aaron and Aphmau walk out of the castle with Malachi.
  “Hey guys are you guys ready to- oh, were we interrupting something?” Aph says with a smirk.
  “Uh no no you didn’t interrupt anything.” I stand up with a blush on my face.
  “Were you guys about to make out or something?” I look at Malachi and shake my head no.
  “No Malachi, we weren't about to do anything.”
  “Well while you keep lying to us I was about to say why don’t we pack up and head out.” We nod and start packing up. We decide to leave about 7:30 p.m. so Malachi could get use to it since he’s been living in a dark castle for 900 years. A few hours later we were outside but Aph was being sure we got everything. I stand next to the entrance of the castle. Malachi comes next to me. He tries to go outside of the entrance but he can’t. I look at the boys but none of them were paying attention. Malachi tries again but fails again.
  “Hey guys?” They look at me and Malachi. Malachi tries to go through the entrance but fails. I look at them and they look confuse. Malachi starts crying and I walk up to them. “He can’t leave.”
  “I can’t believe it, it must be so hard for him.” I nod and walk back over to Malachi and try to help him calm down. A few minutes later Aphmau comes out and Aaron tells her. When she gets up to me and Malachi.
  “Malachi I’m so sorry about this.”
  “Does that mean I won’t be able to go with you?”
  “No you will come with us.”
“We need someone to perform an exorcism on you so you can be free from the castle alright.” He nods and Aph and I walk over to the boys and tell them what’s going on. We decide that we will go find someone. I stay behind to keep Malachi company.
