Chapter 19

Kai’s POV
  I wake up to see Garroth and Laurence still asleep. I look over to see Aphmau and Malachi asleep but Aaron isn’t in sight. I walk out of the tent to see he’s next to a tree. I walk over to him and he looks at me.
  “Hey Kai what’s up?”
  “Nothing much, how long have you been awake?”
  “About 20 to 30 minutes.”
  “So not that long.” He nods in response.
  “Yeah so what’s been going on with you, Garroth, and Laurence?”
  “What do you mean?”
  “Well you guys seem to be really close and weren’t you guys making out a few days ago?”
  “What, no we weren’t, why would you think that?”
  “Because when Aph and I came out of the castle you guys were really close and-”
  “That doesn't mean we were making out, we may have been telling secrets to each other and we didn’t want to let anyone hear it.” He shakes his head and I hear someone coming out of the tent. I turn around and see Garroth exit the tent and I walk over to him. “Talk to you later Aaron.” I walk over to Garroth and see what he’s doing. As I get over to him he looks up and waves. He stands up and just stares at me. “Hey Garroth.”
  “Hey Kai, how is your day so far?”
  “It’s fine so uhh, Aaron is catching on.” He looked up towards Aaron. “He was talking about us being close and when they came out of the castle when you were about to kiss me.” He nods and looks back at me.
  “Well he can think all he wants since they don’t have any proof.” I nod and he grabs my hand. We walk for a bit behind some trees where they couldn’t see or hear us.
  “Garroth what are we doing?” He pushes me up against a tree. He takes off our helmets and I can see him smirking.
  “Since not many people are up I thought we could have a little fun~” I look at him and then look down. He puts his hand under my chin and forces me to look at him. “Don’t be shy, let's have a little fun~” I blush as he starts talking in a seductive tone. I shut my eyes and I start sliding down the tree. Before I knew it he was tickling me and I started laughing.
  “S-stop p-please.” He keeps going for a few minutes before he decided to stop. At this point I’m a little annoyed so I decide for payback. ‘I know he’s not ticklish but I need to get him back.’ I jump on and take his chestplate off and start tickling him and to my surprise he starts laughing. “I thought you said that you and Laurence aren’t ticklish?”
  “Pl-please stop, I h-hate being tickled.” I stop and just sit on his legs. He sits up and looks at me with a small smile. “Ok ok you got me, we only said that so you wouldn’t try but that didn’t work.”
  “So-”
  “Yes we’re both ticklish.”
  “I knew it.” He laughs a little and looks at me.
  “Can I have my chestplate back?” I shake my head no. “Ugh, why not?” I look away trying not to laugh. “Fine then let me just-” All of the sudden I am on the ground and he’s on top of me. He gets up and grabs his chestplate.
  “Hey, that’s not fair.” He rolls his eyes at me and holds his hand out to me but I don’t accept it. He puts his chestplate on then picks me up. “Hey, put me down.” He puts me down and smiles.
  “Now come on, we better get back before Laurence and Aphmau wake up.” He grabs our helmets and hands me mine. Before I put it on he kisses me. We pull apart and smile. We put our helmets on and head back. When we do we see Laurence and Aph awake. Garroth goes over and talks to Laurence and I just chill by the fire. When I look up I see Aph walking off. None of the boys notice so I follow her. After a minute or so she turns around and I move behind her.
  “At least no one saw me.” She turns around and sees me. “Ahh! What the hell Kai.”
  “Sorry but where are you going?”
  “I’m going to get a Eldritch Eye.”
  “Ok well I’m going with you.”
  “No, I don't want anyone to come help me, especially not a guy. Since they make them harder to fight because of their hormones.”
  “Well for one I’m not technically a guy and two you need someone to help you just in case. You’re not going to change my mind or I can just go tell the guys abou-”
  “No!, fine you can come with me.”
  “Good now lead the way.” After a few minutes or so we get to a cave.
  “Here we are, now I have a few night potions that Lucinda gave me, so here.”
  “I don’t need it since werewolves can move around very easily at night. Why do you think we normally go out at night?” She nods her head and drinks the potion.
  (I don’t want to write about them being in the cave, just watch the episode if you want to know just Kai is there as well. You can make her talk if you want of he can just be there)
  After we got back to Lucinda’s we went our separate ways. She goes to go to talk to Lucinda and I go over to the fire and just lay next to it. After a few minutes I hear Laurence walk up by me and just stand there.
  “Do you need something?”
  “Just wanted to know if you’re hungry.”  I open my eyes to see him holding a sandwich. I sit up and open my hand, he places it in my hand and sits next to me. I take my helmet off and start eating it. “So what did you and Garroth do this morning?”
  “Did he not tell you?” He shakes his head no. “Well he took me there and we kissed for a bit.” He nods in response. ‘I’m not going to tell him I know he’s ticklish just to get him back for later.’ Garroth walks up behind us and sits next to me.
  “And she knows we’re ticklish.”
  “Dang it, I didn’t want him to know.”
  “How did she find out?”
  “I told her we were going to have fun then tickled her and when I stopped she jumped on me and yeah.” He nods and moves away from me a little and I laugh.
  “Calm down, you big baby.” We all laugh at that and just continue talking. Aphmau and Aaron walk up to us and sit across from us and we all just talk.
  “Ok so Lucinda says that Logan is going to be fine.”
  “That’s good so what is our next action?”
  “That would be to go to the town of Pikoro which is close by.”
  “Alright when should we-”
  “Actually I wanted to go alone just in case, since having guards around will bring more attention to us.”
  “Alright but one of us should go like me or Aaron since we don’t look as much as guards.”
  “Fine then Aaron can come so you guys can have some fun while we’re gone.” All three of us roll our eyes.
  “Alright since that is settled, let's get some sleep so we can be rested for tomorrow.” We all nod and head to bed. Tomorrow is another day.
