Bowie's POV

Saturday, November 6th

7:08 pm

I came home from my 8-hour shift with a headache and a text from Stevie saying she was having a fashion emergency.

So I was currently sitting on the couch already having taken aspirin and watching Stevie. She stood blocking the movie playing on the tv and her portable clothing rack stood beside her.

It was the third outfit she had tried on.

Tibby slept beside me, already fed up it seemed.

"Babe, I'm gonna be honest with you. It looks exactly like the last one."

She threw her head back with a huff. "Bowie no it does not," she whined like a child.

She took a step closer to the coffee table. "This blazer has sparkly black buttons. See?"

She was wearing combat boots a white tank top, gray dress pants, and a blazer. Her black hair was down her back.

"Sure," I said shrugging

"Sure," I said shrugging. I wasn't one to have an eye for details or fashion.

Most of the contents of her closet were downstairs at the moment. There were sunglasses, belts, and purses on the coffee table along with jewelry pieces. And she had 4 more outfits to show me. Shoes littered the floor making this room feel much smaller.

I loved the girl but sometimes she was just a bit too meticulous.

"I need to seem professional when I ask for the promotion," She said wearing a stressed look and smoothing out the wrinkles in her blazer.

"Here me out...maybe you should be...I don't know...practice what you're going to say instead of worrying about what you're gonna wear," I said with a small smile, knowing she was about to probably throw something at me.

She gave me an exasperated look and tossed a pair of sunglasses at me.

I chuckled, catching them and placing them over my eyes.

"I've been over this. What I wear sets the tone for how confident I feel in the interview," She reiterated for the 3rd time tonight. "If I'm wearing a great pair of shoes and the right blazer, I'll kill it with the questions."

I leaned my arm over the back of the couch and smirked.
