Chapter 38

Athena's Point Of View:

Because of the loudness coming from my side, I woke up. I have no idea where I am right now since the only thing I can recall is that my car was shot at. My plane experienced a nasty incident recently. We didn't expect what happened, including my people, which is why I was shot. I have no idea who those people are or why they did what they did. I gradually opened my eyes, and Kiro was standing with the royal guards. They were chatting about something I couldn't quite hear, and I wondered why he was there.

"Hindi pa namin alam kung sino ang may gawa nun sa kanya. These past few days ay may weird na nangyayari kay Athena at hindi namin mahanap kung sino ang nasa likod ng mga 'yun," ani ni Rina. 

"Isn't there a lead CCTV's? We won't stop finding the person who did this to her. She's not telling me about this either," Kiro answered.

Napatingin sa akin si Chase kaya sabay-sabay silang napatingin sa akin at agad akong niyakap ni Kiro. Napangiwi ako at huminga ng malalim dahil hindi ko makakalimutan ang ginawa ng isa sa mga tao ko sa kanya. Tinignan niya ako. Bakas sa kanyang mga mata ang takot at kaba na hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit at anong dahilan, marahil siguro ay nawala ako ng ilang linggo dahil sa dami ng problema. 

"I'm so worried babe..." aniya sa malambing na boses. "Hindi ko na alam kung saan ka pupuntahan o hahanapin. Palagi mo na lang akong pinag-aalala."

"I'm sorry..." bulong ko. Tinignan ko sila Rina at tumango naman sila at dahan-dahan na umalis. "Gusto ko lang mag pahinga muna at gusto ko lang rin muna na lumayo. Masyadong magulo ang isip ko ngayon, Kiro."

What's going on is no longer clear to me. There are two women who have always followed me, and I am aware of their presence. Sometimes, especially given how many people they have, I don't expect those two. Due to some negative news, I am also experiencing issues with my businesses. I'm not sure who or what to put first right now because of all the stress and commotion. I simply want to relax and go.  Hindi ko alam paano nila nalagyan ng bomba ang yate ko at paano nila nalaman kung nasaan ako, ilang beses na nangyari sa akin ang mga bagay na 'to. 

"You can rest by my side, babe. You can lean on me for all your problems. Just don't leave me, I'm begging..." he said softly.

I smiled. "Ayokong dumagdag sa mga iniisip mo lalo na at college ka na. Hindi ba gusto mong patunayan ang sarili mo sa mga magulang mo at sa chairman ninyo? Kaysa sabihin ko ang mga problema ko, 'wag na lang. Kaya ko pa naman, Kiro."

"Relationships exist between us. In this relationship, there are two of us, and from what I can see, we fight but eventually work things out.," he said seriously.

No matter what he said, I still wouldn't say it, so I just grinned and nodded at him. I know what's best for him, and as a college student, I don't want him to be like me. I don't want to treat him badly or act selfishly either. I grinned and gripped his neck as I returned his kisses after he had kissed my lips. He pulled back and kissed my lips once more, and I grinned.

"Wag mo na ulit akong iiwan..." bulong niya habang hinahaplos ang baywang ko pababa sa pang-upo ko. 

When I was going to respond, he began kissing my lips, so I was unable to respond. I tightly embraced his neck after feeling him tug at my bottom lip. I dropped to my knees and sat right down on his lap, never letting our lips separate. Bumaba ang halik niya sa panga ko pababa sa leeg ko kaya pinikit ko ang mga mata ko nang maramdaman ang kamay niya sa isa kong dibdib. 

"Kiro...did you lock the door?" I whispered huskily. 

Because he was now preoccupied with my garments, he did not respond once more. Just be careful not to touch my wound; if he did, I would strike him in the face. When his tongue touched my chest, I winced, squinted, and bit my lip.
