(A/n- there's a decent amount of pov changes in this chapter, so watch out for that)

Y/n's Pov:

Back to work again. I was in a good mood today, considering that my brother had gotten back. He even said that me might try to pop over to Scoops Ahoy and say hello today. And I was also excited to see Robin again. Cause she's my friend, ya know?

Today was slower than yesterday, but still pretty busy. But it was also extremely boring. The excitement of a new job in a new mall with new coworkers had completely disappeared. Now it just felt like every day was exactly the same. I could tell that Steve and Robin were getting bored as well.

"Have a nice day." Robin says with a flat expression to a pair of customers. I check my watch. 12:26. A little early to start my lunch break, but Steve and Robin can handle it.

~~~Robin's Pov:
"Hi!" says a boy, around 14, with curly hair hidden underneath a hat.
"Hi." I reply.
"I'm Dustin." Says the boy. I wonder if this is Dustin, as in Y/n's brother Dustin.
"I'm Robin." I say to the boy.
"Pleasure to meet you. Uh, are... are they here?" Dustin asks. I have quite literally no idea who he is talking about.
"Is who here?" I ask. I love how children assume that everyone understands what's going on inside their tiny little brains. Before he could answer me about whoever he was looking for, a door opened up from inside the break room and Steve popped out,
"Henderson!" He said. So I guess this was Y/n's brother after all.
"Henderson! He's back!" Steve yelled as he ran around the counter to greet Dustin.
"He's back!"
"I'm back! You got the job!" By this time, Y/n had made her way out of the break room and leaned against the partition.
"I got the job!" Steve yelled as he pretended to play a trumpet. The two boys then initiated a handshake that probably took them way too long to learn.
"How many children are you friends with?" I ask.
"Yeah, and why are you all of a sudden best friends with my brother?" Y/n asks from behind me. Steve gets a confused look on his face.
"Wait, Dustin's your brother?" he asks. Is he really this dense?
"Henderson?" Y/n says as she points to herself. "Henderson?!" she points to her brother. Steve still looks confused.
"Why do you think I let all his friends into movies?" She asks.
"Ohhhh." Steve says.
"Seriously, dude?" Dustin says. "By the way, hi Y/n." She waves a hand in response. I constantly feel the need to remind myself that Steve Harrington is by far less intelligent than we think he is. If anything we overestimate him.
"Okay but seriously, since when were you friends with my brother?" Y/n asks again. The three of them continued to talk amongst themselves while I observed. And by observed, I mean I looked at Y/n. I really admired her. She was a good boss and a great friend. She was smart, pretty, and funny as well. But I can't have another Tammy Thompson.
Y/n's Pov:
To welcome him home, we gave Dustin a banana split, on the house. Steve and him talked about Suzie. Apparently Steve was sort of like Dustin's "Dating Coach." If only Steve could get a girlfriend for himself.
