7. Gravity

For me, who was in danger, you are gravity

Jisoo was sitting in the front like usual while Chaeyoung sat at the back, she was throwing paper balls at Lisa's head.

"Ya, can you stop?" Lisa asks as Chaeyoung threw one at her forehead.

"Nobody even pays attention." Who even pays attention in history class?

"You're girlfriend is," Lisa said.

"She's a friend."

"Hey, do you have butter?" Jennie asks the two.

"Why the hell do you have toast?" Lisa and Chaeyoung looked back at her.

"Because I didn't eat?" Jennie rolled her eyes, "Do have any or-"

"I don't."

"I have a jam," Chaeyoung says pulling out a small jar.

"Great!" Jennie reached over for it.

Days when I wandered, strength that pulled me strongly

"Why the hell do you have jam?"

"For my lunch? Why else would I bring that?"

"To shove up your ass?"

"Ew! Don't be gross!"

"You two don't want any?" Jennie offered.

"No thanks."

"Just one please!"

Past the painful times

Jisoo was taking notes as she looks down at her notebook, she looks back seeing the three in the back. Eating.

She frowns as Jennie was slacking off.

"Sir?" She looks back at her teacher before raising her hand.

"May I step outside?" She asks as he nods.

"Hey is the nerd okay?" Lisa asks as she watched Jisoo leave.

"I'm sure she's fine," Jennie says.

"She probably just wants fresh air." Chaeyoung smiles.

"Hmm, I wanna join then!" Lisa says as she raised her hand.

"Excuse me, teacher? Can I step outside for a bit?!"

"S-sure Manobal." He nods before teaching the lesson.

"Any of you gonna join?"

"No thanks."

"Chae?"

"Not this time."

"Suit yourselves." Lisa stood up and walks out of the room.

I finally found my place

isa was walking around the school as she hid trying not to get caught, she hid in the janitor's closet before peaking out.

Jisoo walks past before getting roughly pushed into the closet.

"L-Lisa?"

"What are you doing? Are you trying to get caught?" Lisa asks as the girl looks at her confused.

"Caught?"

"You're walking around, aren't you?"

"But I have a pass?"

"Oh, well... This is awkward." Lisa laughs before letting her go.

"What are you doing here? Did you ditch?"

"Wanting to, but that class is boring!" Lisa frowns, "Chae and Jennie are just eating loudly."

"Oh."

"So I thought why not walk around and clear my head."

"Is something troubling you?" Jisoo asked as the girl sat on one of the boxes.

"To be honest, yeah." Lisa looks down as she messed with the sticky tape.

"I'm nervous about quitting tennis." She says, "I decided to join our cross team."

"But- isn't tennis your thing?"

"It was, but it's not. Chaeyoung is our star player and I just want to exit that shadow."

"I understand."

"You do?" Lisa looks up surprised.

"My sister is great at things that I'm not good at." Jisoo says as she looks down at her shoes, "but I'm good at things she's not, I think it's great that you're finding your talent."

"Sometimes we need to exit that shadow." Jisoo looks at her with a smile.

"Wow, I didn't know you had a sister!"

"I do, but she and I are very different."

"Who is she?"

"I can not say."

"Figured, but thanks for the advice Jisoo. It means a lot." Lisa smiled happily.

Hold me even tighter

"Shouldn't you be in class by now?"

"Shit! You're right! D-do you want me to walk you...or?"

"I'll walk with you." Jisoo accepts her offer.

"Do you have anything that you want to do here?" Lisa asks.

"I just want to focus on my studies more." Jisoo says, "maybe I should find extra activities."

"Try out with me!" Lisa says grabbing her hands, "Please?"
