Another day, another game of soccer at the park.

Mitsuki and Inko were sitting on the bench watching as Bakugou kicked the ball to you.

"Midoriya!" You called, kicking the ball in his direction.

He was about to kick it, but missed completely and tripped.

"Are you okay?" You asked while running over to help him up.

"Geez, Izuku, you can't even kick a ball right?" Bakugou asked with a smirk. "Hey.. Izuku kind of sounds like Deku!"

"Deku?" You both asked.

"Defenseless Izuku! Deku!"

"That's not nice..." You muttered.

"He's just playing around!" Midoriya excused, rubbing the back of his head.

You could see Bakugou side eyeing him, but chose to ignore it and pick up the ball.

"We can play catch instead." You suggested.

"Hey Deku," Bakugou began while turning to him. "Can you catch a ball?"

"Yeah! Of course I can!" He exclaimed happily.

The blonde shrugged and tossed it to him.

Midoriya attempted to catch it but it bonked him on the head.

"Ow!" He whined.

"Of course not..." Bakugou grumbled.

"Hey, we can make sand castles," You said, picking up the bucket and spade. "My mom bought this a few weeks ago."

"Then kick 'em down?!" He asked enthusiastically.

"But what if it looked really good?" Midoriya asked.

"So what? It won't stand forever! If we don't do it, someone else will!" He said.

"I don't mind." You said while looking at Midoriya. "We don't have to kick down yours."

"Okay..." He nodded, taking the shovel from your hand as Bakugou did the same.

---

"Mine is clearly the best." Bakugou smirked, swinging his legs while sitting on the floor of the jungle gym.

You and Midoriya we're on either side of him while looking at the castles.

"All of them look the same." You said confused.

"You just don't get it." He huffed. "But just admit that I'm better."

"You did a good job, Kacchan!" Midoriya exclaimed, clapping his hands to cheer him on further.

"Thanks Deku!" He said, slapping the boy on the back.

"Ouch..."

You glared at him slightly but got up and sighed.

"You can break them if you want to."

"Hell yeah!"

"Kacchan..." Midoriya furrowed his eyebrows.

"It's just a simple word, Deku." He deadpanned while jumping on top of the castle he made.

"How come Kacchan's so mean all of the sudden?" He asked.

"I don't know. Is this normal?" You asked him.

"Yeah.. but that would mean he's just playing around." Midoriya smiled. Bakugou activated his quirk and exploded the greenette's castle, a seemingly malicious smirk on his face. "His quirk is so awesome..."

You raised an eyebrow at that and walked over to the slide.

---

Bakugou and the gang were hanging out at the park again, playing tag and hide & seek.

Well, they were until Bakugou stopped seeking.

"Kacchan? What's wrong?" One of the boys asked.

"I don't wanna play at the park anymore." He huffed. "Let's go somewhere else! And not the city! Let's find a different place to hang out."

You tilted your head at that.

"How will we do that? Are we allowed to?" They shrugged and Bakugou let out a 'hmph!'

"We'll do it anyways! C'mon, guys, don't be lame!" He exclaimed.

"All right..." Midoriya mumbled.

-

"Eh? What's that sound?" You asked curiously.

"What's what sound?" Bakugou asked.

"I hear water." You muttered while walking in the direction.

"Hey!" Bakugou stepped in front of you and narrowed his eyes. "I'm the leader!" He huffed and turned around, beginning to shoot little explosion from his palms. "Forward march and here we go!"

Everyone followed him in the direction you found while copying his movements. Midoriya was the caboose.

"Members of the agency Ba-ku-gou!" Your eyes trailed down to the water in worry.

"Bakugou..."

"Sai--" he slipped off of the log with a yelp, splashing down in the water and drawing gasps from you and Midoriya.

"I bet he's fine. Kacchan's strong!" One of the kids exclaimed.

"Get back up here, bro!" Another said.

"Oh, yeah, I'm okay!" Bakugou laughed.

You slid down next to him in worry as Midoriya reached a hand out to help.

"Are you hurt?" You asked.

"Can you stand?" Midoriya asked. "I hope you didn't hit your head..."

His eyes narrowed into a glare, hand coming up to smack his away.

"I..." He trailed off, looking upset as he shot up. "I don't need your help! You don't even have a quirk, Deku! Deku... that's someone who can't do anything!!"

"Bakugou! That's--"

"You're a-- stupid girl!" He turned to you sharply and huffed. "The only reason I wanted to stay friends is cause your quirk is good! But mine is way better anyways because you can't even control it!"

Your eyes teared up progressively as he continues berating you.

"I don't want to be your friend if that's how you'll treat me..." Wiping the tears away, you threw a stray leaf into the water. "I'm sick of it. I won't let this happen again."

"Y/n-chan wait..." Midoriya muttered, following behind you as you stomped up the hill.

"I'm going home."

"I'm sure Kacchan didn't mean it." Midoriya tried to reassure.

"Even if he wasnt serious it was still mean." You said.

"He might say sorry if we go back!" He suggested.

"..."
"Later. I don't want to see him now." You said. "See you tomorrow."

"See you..." He muttered, watching you walk away.
