7. 𝐀 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐤?

You followed Midoriya mindlessly as he ran towards the villain that was attacking the city.

"Be careful..." You muttered, looking at the group of people ahead.

"That's a huge villain!" He exclaimed in admiration, trying to look through the crowd for some way to get closer.

"There." You pointed at an open space and waited for him to say something.

He pushed through some people, making you deadpan and follow closely.

"We'll be late for school if we stay here all day, Midoriya." You told him.

"I'm sure it'll be quick! Then we can get to school!" He reassured.

Some girls squealed in the front as a flash of blue passed overhead.
"You can do it, Kamui!" They cheered.

He kept up towards the villain and quickly dodged an incoming attack.

Finally getting to the front, you looked up at them curiously.

"Who's fighting?" Midoriya asked excitedly. "Kamui Woods!"

You deadpanned at that, looking back towards the girls from earlier.

"They said that before..."

"The young and talented rising star!"

"You were the one asking, but you gave perfect commentary, kid." The man beside him said. "You're a fanboy, aren't you?"

"Uh, well..." He blushed, but you both knew it was true.

"We like watching the battles.." you muttered coyly.

Your eyes wandered around the crowd curiously, even though you may never see these people again...

"Oh, here it comes!" Midoriya exclaimed while grabbing your hand.

"Huh?"

"Show us something flashy, Tree-Man!" Fanboy man said.

"Pre-emptive Binding Lacquered Chain Prison!" Midoriya said.

"Canyon Cannon!" A blonde woman came out of nowhere, kicking the villain and simultaneously knocking him out.

"Eh?"

You squeaked as photographers flooded the scene with cameras aimed and clicking.

"Today is the day of my debut!" The woman said. Your face heated slightly at her beauty, the feeling worsening when her face was revealed to the crowd. "My name is Mt. Lady. A pleasure to meet your acquaintance."

"She's really pretty..." You hummed, looking down at the ground with a flustered expression.

Midoriya began digging in his bag for a notebook and started taking notes as soon as it was out.

"Gigantification, huh? She looks like she'll be popular, and it's an amazing quirk, but thinking about the damage to the city that'll go hand in hand with that, it's use might be limited?"

You watched and listened to him cluelessy before placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Midoriya..."

"No, but whether or not she can control the size..."

"Hey wait, you're taking notes? You wanna be a hero?" Fanboy man asked. You looked at him and nodded. "That's great! You guys can do it!"

Midoriya looked at him with wide eyes and smiled.

"Yes! I'll do my best!" He exclaimed.

"Ehm, Midoriya." You tapped his shoulder again. "We're gonna be late for--"
