21. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧

"Hey, what's going on? He's not any weaker at all. Did that guy... lie to me?!"

"What's wrong?" All Might asked. "You're not coming? You said you'd 'clear' this or something, right?" He asked with a glare. "Come and get me if you can."

"All Might..." Bakugou muttered.

"As expected. It looks like there is no need for us to fight." Todoroki said.

"I dunno... I've got kind of a bad feeling..." You mumbled.

"Does that mean we should fight now?" Kirishima asked with a sweatdrop.

"She said kind of." Bakugou deadpanned.

"Midoriya! We should get out of here now!" Kirishima exclaimed. "It'll be worse if we end up getting taken hostage instead!"

'He's bluffing. I can hear the very subtle shake in his voice. No one can notice, huh?'

"Well, what's wrong?!" Handy flinched.

'You're trembling.... All Might, don't move anymore.'

"If only I had Nomu!" Handy said, beginning to scratch his neck. "That guy... would have been able to go up against him without thinking about anything!"

"Shigaraki Tomura! Please calm yourself." Misty said before nodding towards All Might. "Look carefully. He was damaged by Nomu's attacks and definitely has weakened." He said. "Besides... the children appear to be frozen in fear."

"!"

"We still have underline who can be used. There are likely only a few minutes left before reinforcements come. If you and I work together... we still have a chance of killing him."

"Yeah... yeah." Handy agreed. "That's right... You're right. Right. We have no choice but to do it. I mean, we have the last boss right in front of our eyes."

You glared at the villains while getting up and turning around to their lackeys.

"They're planning to go through with killing All Might while the other heroes are still showing up." You informed, dragging Midoriya over to the boys.

"The least we can do is handle these guys while he handles the others. There's no way they can kill All Might." Kirishima said. "We'll go help the others!"

You were about to pull Midoriya along but he didn't budge. You looked at him in confusion

"Izuku?"

"Midoriya?" Todoroki muttered.

Handy rushed forward.

"This is revenge for Nomu!"

"!"

Midoriya lept forward, causing you to follow on instinct.

You heard the sound of his bones CRACKING and flinched at the sound as it was loud in your ears.

'I can't bring myself to be upset.. just be okay.' You thought.

"Get away from All Might!" Handy's hand(haha that's a funny sentence) shot out from the portal, making a bad feeling boil in your stomach.

Quickly shifting into a tiger, you grabbed his shirt and tried to force yourself back to the ground.

'I won't make it in time! I don't know what his quirk can do, but the feeling getting worse!' His fingers just barely grazed the f/c fur before a gunshot sounded out and his hand bled.

You landed with a thud, making sure that Midoriya didn't land in his BROKEN LIMBS.

Two more shots went off before Vlad King's footsteps could be heard.

"Sorry, everyone! Sorry we're late!" He said. "I gathered all who were immediately available!"

"Iida!" You heard Uraraka exclaim.

"I, class 1-A representative, Iida Tenya, have now returned!!"

"Aw, man... they're here.." handy said. "It's game over now. Shall we go home and try again later, Kurogir--?"

Repeated gunshots sounded out, and you covered your ears as the sound of them hitting flesh sounded in them.

'I shouldn't have entered U.A., huh..?'

They finally disappeared and you slowly lowered your arms then looked at Midoriya.

"You idiot..." You muttered, cradling his head in your hands while giving a stoic glare. "Didn't Recover Girl tell you about this? Stop getting so hurt."

"I'm sorry... don't hurt me." He sweatdropped.

"I'm tempted." You said with your normal stoic features.

"I-I'm sorry... I wasn't able to do anything but I worried you." He muttered.

"That's not true." All Might said. "If it weren't for those few seconds you bought me, I would have been killed. You saved me again."

Midoriya's eyes tear up in admiration.

"All Might... I'm so glad... You're okay..!"

You rubbed his back comfortingly and looked up at All Might.

"If so many pro heroes came here, then it looks like they isn't attack the whole school." Todoroki muttered.

"Midoriya!" Kirishima exclaimed while running over to him.

"Ah-- Kirishima!"

"Are you all right?!"

You perked up, getting up quickly and attempting to run over. You flinched back as the ground grew into a wall and stopped him.

'Cementoss..'

"We want to make sure that all the students are safe, so please gather in front of the gate. We will deal with he injured here." He said.

"That makes sense." Kirishima replied. "Roger that!"

Running footsteps sounded out and you looked back at All Might.

"Thanks." He said. "You saved me, Cementoss."

You huffed, crawling over and nudging his hand.

"I am a fan of yours, too." The hero replied.

All Might complied and patted your head, amking you happy... even if your face didn't show it.

"Let's get you to the nurse's office while keeping you hidden. But man, you act recklessly every time, huh?"

"If I didn't act recklessly, I'd have been killed." All Might said. "That's how strong the enemy was."

"Hm? But I wouldn't let you die." You said in confusion.

"I appreciate that, kiddo, but eh..." He sweatdropped while looking for a way to explain it.

"I will protect you now." You said, eyes shimmering with determination.

"There's no need for that..."

I actually do love head pats, so 😅

I think it may be easy to tell, but Y/n is kind of like a mix of Nezuko and Mikasa... that's what it sounds like to me, anyways. I apparently can never be original 😐
