34. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬

The next few days, you two hung out non-stop and the news wasn't surprising to your mother's... The mothers. They both told Mrs. Bakugou.

But either way, the both of you were on the train. You were feeling pretty giddy since Midoriya wrapped his hand around your shoulder.

Maybe it's cause the vehicle was crowded, but who knows.

You peaked over Midoriya's hand as he scrolled through his phone.

"Click that one." You said while pointing at a cat article.

"Hm? Why?" He pondered.

"Cause kitty's are cute." You replied with shining eyes, hand tapping his in excitement.

"Excuse me..." You hummed, looking past Midoriya and seeing a man. "Excuse me!"

He acknowledged the guy too and he smiled while giving a thumbs up.

"You two were in the hero festival. Midoriya and L/n."

That drew some attention.

"Good job out there! You were pretty close!"

You nodded sheepishly, looking down at the ground with slight discomfort.

'I'm not depressed or anxious over the whole thing anymore but it's still pretty upsetting to talk about...'

"You were in the top eight, right? You were so cool!"

"Present Mic was right when he said her quirk was flashy!"

"He's smaller than I expected."

"He reminds me of when I was young."

"She is pretty gorgeous up close."

'Now I wish Mic-sensei hadn't said those things...'

"Do your best, heroes!"

"Y-Yeah..." You nodded

"Iida's coming." You hummed and turned around.

"Good morning, Midoriya! L/n!"

"Good morning, Iida." You greeted then blinked.

"Eh?! Wearing a poncho and rain boots?!" You looked up at the shared umbrella in confusion.

'Is this bad..?'

"Why are you walking so slowly? You're going to be late!"

"Late?" You pondered, beginning to run with Midoriya in tow.

"There are still five minutes until the first bell!" Midoriya exclaimed.

"U.A. students should always arrive ten minutes early!"

'Im not getting too soaked.' you blinked, quickly rushing into the school and waiting patiently for the boys to finish up.

"Iida--"

"If it's about my brother, there is no need to worry."

'What happened after I left?'

"I apologize for worrying you needlessly."

"Uhm... Iida, what happened with your brother if you don't mind me asking?"

"That's... probably not a good idea..." Midoriya said while taking your hand in his.
