"Were you able to sleep, Midoriya? L/n?" Todoroki asked suddenly.
"No, not really..." Midoriya replied.
You said nothing and just continued looking out the window.
"Me neither." He muttered.
"Thinking about it now, we did something amazing, huh?" Midoriya mentioned.
"Yeah." Todoroki agreed.
"Seeing an ending like that really makes you feel like it's a miracle we're alive." Midoriya hummed. "With my leg like this, he probably could've killed us if he'd wanted to."
"Yeah. We were obviously left alive on purpose." Todoroki said then turned to Iida. "You're amazing to have been able to face him after all the murderous intent directed at you."
"No, that's not it." Iida disagreed. "I..."
"Oh, are you wounded kids awake?"
"Gran Torino!" Midoriya called.
"Manual..." Iida muttered.
"How ya doin', Red?" Mirko asked with a grin.
"Hi, Mirko.." you greeted quietly.
"Kid, I've got a lot of complaints for you!" Gran Torino said while walking over to Midoriya.
"Oh! S-Sor--"
"But before that, you've got a visitor." In walked a tall-- very tall-- dog-man with a nice suit and a dalmatian pattern collar... or cow print. "Hosu's chief of police, Kenji Tsuragamae."
Your eyes shimmered as you shifted to get up along with Todoroki and Midoriya.
"Oh, you can just stay seated, woof."
'So cute...' you got up anyways and slowly inched closer.
"You must be the U.A. students who thought down the hero killer's right?"
"Yes, sir." You replied.
"Regarding the hero killer we arrested... He had fairly serious injuries, with burns, bites and broken bones,--"
'Oops...'
"--and is recieving treatment under strict guard, woof."
'Cute...'
"Since you are U.A. students, I'm sure you already know that when superpowers we're still becoming the norm, the police attached a high importance to leadership and standards and made sure quirks we're not used as weapons. And thenz the profession of 'hero' emerged to fill that gap, woof."
'Cuteness overload?'
"For an individual's use of force and power that can easily kill others... actions that normally would be appropriate to denounce... to be accepted officially is thanks to early heroes who followed the thics and rules of the profession, woof."
'Would I be allowed to give headpats?'
"Even up against the hero killer, for uncertified individuals to cause injury with their quirks without specific instruction from their guardians or supervisors is a clear violation of the rules. The three of you, and the pro heroes Endeavor, Manual, Mirko and Gran Torino must recieve strict punishment."
You looked at the rabbit hero who just glared at the wall in silence.
"Wait a minute." Todoroki glared, making you nervous as to what he would do. "If Iida hadn't done anything, Native would've been killed."
"Todoroki..." Iida whispered as he spoke.
"No one realized that the hero killer had appeared. Are you saying we should've followed the rules and watched people get killed?"
