You and Midoriya walked up to the mock battle center, one looking nervous and the other stoic.

Can you guess who's who?

"How can everyone be so confident..? Aren't they nervous?" Midoriya asked while scanning the crowd.

"Maybe they have awesome quirks." You suggested. "Or quirks they think are awesome."

"Hey, that's not nice." He muttered. "Oh, it's the girl we met at the school gates. The nice person."

"I'm nice.."

"But we didn't meet at the school..?" He looked at you with a clueless smiled and you nodded. "Guess she was assigned to the same battle center, huh?"

Midoriya began walking toward her and you followed.

Well... until a hand was placed on your shoulder. The touch made you jump and instantly turn to the owner.

"That girl appears to be trying to focus. What are you doing here? Are you taking the entrance exam to interfere with everyone else?"

Midoriya squeaked, about to speak though you beat him to it.

"I apologize if that's what you thought, but you have no true evidence that we were walking towards her. Yes, by the sounds of it, she is trying to get in the zone and we were going to thank her for earlier. But still, wouldn't that mean you were technically interfering with us if we were just walking into the crowd?" You asked with a tilt of your head. "I mean, it's almost impossible not to stare at someone with... I dunno, over a hundred people around."

"R-Right! I'm sorry!"

"It's no biggie, we were going to talk to her, but it's just that.. if we weren't..."

"That's the guy who almost tripped at the front gate, right?"

"The one who winced after being called out." You glanced at everyone and realized they were pointing at you.. well not you specifically but the both of you.

"At the very least, we have on less rival to worry about, huh?"

You smiled at them, but there wasn't any warmth behind it.

"You can think that all you want, okay? I won't stop you.. but you don't know what he's capable of. It may be something extravagant, or even dangerous. Not to put you on edge or anything since hurting any other examinees is against the rules, but... I hold grudges, Kay?" You gave a thumbs up and turned back towards Midoriya and glasses. "Excuse me, what's your name?"

"!"
"Ah, Iida Tenya!"

"I apologize again, Iida." You pat his shoulder, causing him to flinch and you to stare in confusion. "Eh? Are you--"

"Okay, start!" Present Mic exclaimed.

"..." You silently slipped past everyone and quickly began running.

"What are you waiting for?! There are no countdowns in real fights! Run, run! The die has been cast, you know! Just look at her go!"

"!"

They turned around and saw a little sesame seed person in the distance. They disposed of two faux villains pretty quickly.

"Eh?! How are they so far away already!"

'It's Y/n, isn't it...?' Midoriya thought after realizing you weren't there.

You realized that he wasn't there as well and quickly shifted into an owl.
