17. 𝐔𝐒𝐉

"For today's hero basic training, it's turned into a class with three instructors. All Might and me, and one more person." Aizawa explained, rising confusion from some of your classmates.

"What will we be doing?" Sero asked as he raised his hand.

Aizawa held out a card with large, bold, blue letters reading 'RESCUE'.

"Disasters, shipwrecks, and everything in between. It's rescue training."

"No one can beat me in water, kero!"

"Rescue... looks like it'll be a lot of work this time, too." Kaminari said.

"Right?" Ashido agreed.

"Idiot, this is the duty of a hero!" Kirishima said. "My arms are ready to rumble!"

"That's mean to call him an idiot. It's just harder for him to pay attention." You defended.

"Huh? How do you know that?" Kaminari asked.

"I can hear that you get all spaced out and start playing with Ojiro's tail. You're barely paying attention." You explained, making him sweatdrop.

"You're kind of weird, kero." Asui commented.

"I am?" You pondered.

"Hey, I'm not done." Aizawa said which made the class go quiet. "You can decide if you want to wear your costume or not this time." He then clicked the button on the remote and the classes hero costumes popped out. "Because there are probably costumes that limit your abilities, too. The training will take place off-campus, so we're taking a bus. That is all. Start getting ready."

You got up and went over to grab your case, following the girls into the locker room to change.

"Midoriya..." You walked over to him and poked his cheek. "If you break yourself again then I won't let you use your quirk anymore."

"What? How are you gonna do that?" He asked nervously.

You blinked and stepped back as Uraraka stepped towards you.

"Deku, you're wearing your P.E. clothes. Where's your costume?" She asked.

"It got ripped up during combat training so I'm waiting for the support company to fix it." Midoriya explained.

You flinched, covering your ears as Iida blew his whistle.

"Class 1-A, please gather around!" He exclaimed. "Form two lines by the out student numbers in order to make boarding the bus go smoothly!"

He then proceeded to blow his whistle and you raised your hand.

"Iida..?" He paused to listen to your input as you coyly fiddle with your gloves. "Can you please refrain from using the whistle?"

"!"
"Right! I'm sorry." He replied while bowing in apology.

"It's okay." You reassured while patting his head.

"Shoot! I didn't think it'd be this type of bus..!" Iida said, sulking as the bus was beginning to drive.

"There was no point, huh?" Ashido asked jokingly.

"Pats..." You muttered, leaning over and patting his head again to try and get his hopes back up.

"I say whatever comes to mind." Asui said then turned to Midoriya. "Midoriya-chan,"

"Um-- yes, Asui?!"

"Call me Tsu."

"Oh, uhm..."

"Your quirk is like All Might's."
