If you saw the TBATE tag, you know Bell is gonna suffer. Also, there will be tbate spoilers for pretty much books three to nine. I'm also gonna be rewriting the first 34 chapters as their grammar is bad. It will take a while since it's over a 100k words, but it will happen.

Zeus POV

Where the hell could that boy have run off to? It's getting late, and he's seven, for Christ's sake.

"Regis, you were supposed to be watching him," I spat to the dog.

"Hey, old man, not my fault he kicked me in the dick and ran off," the purple dog replied.

"Bullshit, you don't even have one."

"I do, too. I felt the pain," he complained.

"Look enough. Just go smell something of Bell's and help me find him. You're a dog, after all."

"Fine, But I'm a wolf."

"That's still a dog," I said, watching the mutt walk inside.

"Grandpa, I'm back, and I made some friends," I heard my grandson say, coming out of the forest.

I quickly spun around and saw my grandson with two cat people in ragged clothing coming out of the forest. Letting go of rational thought, I ran and embraced my grandson in a hug.

"Don't run off like that again, Bell. I was worried sick," I told the boy.

"But these people needed help," Bell innocently tilted his head.

I let go of him and looked at the cat people he had saved. One was a boy with black hair and black ears to match. He seemed to be a teenager judging by his height. Next to him was a girl with brown hair and brown ears who also seemed to be in her teens.

"Come, let's get inside and get you some better clothes while I talk with my grandson about what happened," I said, gesturing to the two of them, but I could tell they were hesitant.

"It's ok, my grandpa won't hurt you," Bell told them, taking their hands and walking into our cabin.

"Just what did that boy get up to," I thought as I followed behind them.

When they got into the house and saw Regis, it was safe to say they were surprised.

"There you are, you little shit, you know how much trouble you caused me," Regis barked before noticing our guests. "And who are your friends?"

"They're cats, your natural enemies, dog," Bell said with a shit-eating grin on his face.

"I'm not a dog; I'm a wolf."

"Same thing," Bell and I both said. With that conversation out of the way, Bell let go of the cat peoples hand, neither of which had said a word. Seeing this, I decided to speak up.

"Wait here, I'll go grab you some clothes," I told them.

"What did you do?" I heard Regis say as I opened the door to my room. I walked over to my dresser and opened it, taking out two shirts and pants.

"I'll have to make some female clothes, but Meteria's old clothes should fit her for the time being," I thought, then felt sad knowing Bell wouldn't know his mother. At least he knows of her. I wouldn't be cruel enough not to tell him of her.

I then walked back out and, handed the clothes to the teenagers and put them each in a separate room so they could change. Also, so I could finally interrogate my grandson.

"Alright, Bell explain what happened," I sternly asked him.

He looked at the ground before he spoke. "Well, Regis and I were playing in the woods. I wanted to go deeper in, but he said no. So I kicked him and ran off. I then started playing in the trees like a monkey 'cause I was swinging and then came across bandits with those two in a cage," he explained.
