Just a misunderstanding

Hermes POV on top of a rooftop nearby.

"Ha ha ha ha, look at that Hermes, your nephew is protecting the monster, and he's doing it in front of everyone to" Ikelos was laughing his head off at the sight.

I stared at the sight not in disgust, but in annoyance.

Oh Bell you're supposed to be the hero, you can't be the hero if you fraternize with monsters. No matter I'll figure something out.

Alise POV

What is he doing, why is he protecting monsters? Did he join Evilus? I examined him once more and saw a hole in his shirt on the side.

Wait was he injured, and that look in his eyes, why does he look remorseful about something?

"Bell Leywin, move out of the way" Finn ordered.

Bell turned his gaze to me and then back to Finn.

"Can't do that Finn" he replied. He twirled his sword in his hand but didn't move from his spot.

"And if we try and pursue," Finn asked.

"I'll fight you and probably die" Bell calmly responded.

Finn jumped off the roof and landed in front of Bell. Thanks to my level six ears I could still hear them.

Finn looked at Bell warily, I knew there was bad blood that Loki and her familia were trying to fix between Bell and them, and it seems they can't do that if Bell's dead.

"We wouldn't kill you if we fought you," Finn told him.

Bell just gave him a sad smile. "Oh Finn, you wouldn't be the one killing me, I would"

What?! Bell would kill himself just to protect these monsters? Why?

"And how would you die" Finn inquired. Based on the way he was standing with his thumb in his fist, it meant his thumb was hurting. Telling him something wasn't right.

Bell shrugged his shoulders. "Where's the fun in telling you that, a good magician doesn't reveal all his secrets"

The two stared each other down. Bell wasn't gonna move and Finn didn't want to inadvertently kill him. So with a heavy sigh, he waved me forward.

Bell POV

I watched as Alise landed gracefully on the ground. She slowly walked up to Finn and me with a look of apprehension on her face. She didn't know what Finn was gonna ask her to do, it seemed she was also nervous to be around me as well. Her eyes darted everywhere so she wouldn't meet my eyes

"It seems the monsters have escaped into the city, you've stopped us, therefore, breaking the law and allowing monsters to wreak havoc on the surface, Bell Leywin you are under arrest for suspicion of being a part of evilus and selling monsters on the black market, Alise cuff him," Finn said.

I raised my sword and knife in the air causing both Alise and Finn to get into ready positions. I moved my hands and held them by the blades holding them out for them to take, Finn hesitantly grabbed both of them and I handed Basilisk tear to the werewolf.

I stuck my hands out in front of Alise and let her put the cuffs on me. I had an indifferent look on my face shutting off my emotions as Alise grabbed my arm and started leading me away.

"Bell" I heard Miach call out to me. I turned my head to the left and saw Miach and my whole familia being stopped from coming any closer.

The area had been shut down and there was a lot of property damage caused by Wiene. Ganesha's familia was holding them back but not too forcefully.
