The journey back to Orario was quick. Sylvie had come back after Bell had defeated Antares and teleported everyone back. It raised his suspicions a little with how quickly she showed up.

Almost as if she was watching him from afar. But if that were the case, how come she didn't help him when he needed it?

The next couple of days, Bell didn't say much. He was waiting for the rest of his familia to return home so they could talk about his reckless and near suicidal behavior.

Regis and Anya stayed by his side the most while waiting for everyone else to return. Regis was Bell's best friend, and Anya was one of his lovers.

Artemis has rushed to Airmid's clinic once arriving back in Orario. Rethusa, her captain, still lay asleep from the amount of blood she had lost from her injuries.

Miach and Nazha were busy running the familial aspects of the familia, with Miach doing taxes and paperwork while Nazha created potions to refill their inventory.

They checked up on Bell now and again to show their support for him. While also writing down some points they wanted to talk with him about once everyone returned.

Bell just mostly remained in his room, only coming out for meals and to bathe. Otherwise, he just remained cooped up with a dead look in his eye.

Thoughts swirled around in his head about what to do. He didn't know what was wrong with him. About why he kept going into situations that should've killed him yet didn't.

Well, no, he knew why he did it. He wanted to be a hero to help people no matter the cost. But maybe he could find a different way to be a hero.

Bell had nearly died four times since he came to Orario, and those were the only times he could remember.

Maybe this intervention would be good for him. Maybe once he gets more perspective on himself, he could change to not be as reckless?

He'd just have to wait for everyone to return.

Welf and Zald were keeping watch over their camp on the 18th floor. They were getting ready to head back up to the surface when morning arrived.

"You think Bell and the others are back by now?" Welf asked, staring at the flames of the fire in front of him.

Zald glanced at the boy before looking back out onto the floor.

"I think the boy is waiting for us back home. He'll probably say something stupid like that took you so long," Zald joked.

Welf chuckled. "What do you think spooked Regis before we left?"

"Couldn't tell ya, lad. That dog is a mystery in and of itself."

"He is pretty fun to be around, though," Welf said.

Zald chuckled. "I remember that one time he put a bag of flour on top of Bell's door. Ha, he was so pissed. I thought he was gonna kill that dog."

Welf laughed. "Or the time I tried to use his fire to forge."

"Still can't believe you tried something like that."

Welf shrugged. "Hey, I thought it would be cool, and then the forge almost caught on fire, and Regis had to put it out."

Zald rolled his eyes. "Alright, let's keep our eyes open. A few more hours, and then we can leave."
