"Kitten," Raven's voice filled her ear as he started ranting in Russian.
"Yevgeny," She sighed, "I'm fine, just stop." She held her phone out and looked up at the ceiling. Taking a deep breath she turned her back to Victor and Owen, "Yevgeny Dimitri Ravenstahl, if you do not shut your goddamn mouth right this second, I will hang up on you, disconnect this number, crush the phone, quit this job, hit the road and never speak to you, Marc, Brandon, or Corey ever again and you know I will do it in a heartbeat." She smirked, "Yeah that's what I thought now are you ready to listen? Who trained me in self defense? And who trained me in weapons? And who got their butt handed to them when no one else had? Exactly so what exactly would be the point in you rushing over other than to question me when I said I am fine other than to piss me off? I have already gone off on her and Mr. Blackbourne fired her, so it is already taken care of. Now unless you want me to bruise I suggest you sit your ass back down on that couch and let be get back to putting ice on my face until Melisma wakes up from her nap. That's what I thought, tell Marc and Brandon to quit laughing and Axel and Corey to quit shaking their heads or I will not meet up with all of you on my next day off. I am a big girl and I am fine, quit treating me like I'm not capable of handling myself. Good bye."
She hung up her phone and turned back to see both Victor and Owen standing there. Victor had a smirk on his face and Owen looked like he was repressing a smirk. "Have to say, I'm thoroughly impressed."
"I am so sorry," She shook her head. "That was so unprofessional of me, I apologize."
"Don't," Victor smiled, "I like it."
"Excuse me," She whispered as she darted to her room and shut the door.
"So what now?" Victor asked turning to face Owen.
"Now, I make Miss Smith learn her lesson," Owen said as he adjusted his tie. "Excuse me, I have some phone calls to make."
"Have fun," Victor smirked as he headed into the living room. He pulled his phone out and hit a button, "Sooooo, you might want to know what just happened," he said as he sat on the couch and sighed. "Just listen before you hack into the footage."
Once he was done he held the phone away so Luke's laughter wasn't so loud in his ear. "Owen is....he...oh man she fucked up so bad!"
"Enough Lucian," North growled. "How's Alina?"
"I don't know," Victor admitted, "She went to her room once she realized we heard her go off on Raven and the team. She hasn't been out since."
"Do you want me to fly out there?" Sean asked concerned. "I'm sure I can work something out."
"No," Victor sighed, "we have to respect her wishes and earn her trust. We can't do that if we are going behind her back and questioning her confidence in herself."
"You sound like Silas now," Kota chuckled.
"Guess he's rubbing off on me," Victor smirked.
"Daddy," Melisma mumbled as she walked into the room rubbing her eyes.
"Hey Little One," Victor smiled as she crawled into his lap. "Want to talk to Daddies while I go check on Alina? I have to leave soon to go play."
"Otay," She smiled as she took the phone from him. "Hi Daddies."
A few moments later Victor came back, "Let me talk to Daddies, real quick then you can have the phone back, Little One. Go get a snack." She hoped off the couch and headed to the kitchen. "Alina is sleeping but I have to leave soon."
"I'll stay," Owen said as he walked into the room. "I can work from here and leave tomorrow. Let her sleep, she has been through a lot lately."
"Okay," Victor nodded. "I'm sure she will appreciate it."
"Or be upset that we did not wake her so she can resume her position," Owen shook his head. "We will find out eventually."
"Very true," Victor chuckled. "She certainly is intriguing."
"I talk Daddies now?" Melisma asked and Victor nodded then handed her the phone.
"I have to leave soon, Little One," Victor said after a few moments. "You can call Daddies right before bedtime to have story time, okay?"
"Otay, bye bye Daddies," She said smiling as she crawled into Owen's lap, "wub you."
