"What are you doing up this late, Beautiful?" Marc asked as he looked up from his book as his door opened and she took a couple of steps inside. "Your ankle or wrist bothering you? Skin itching from where he removed the stitches?" She shook her head, "Nightmare?" She shook her head. "Come here."

She slowly walked over to him, and he pulled the covers back then scooted over so she could get into the bed beside him. "Tell me," She whispered as she laid her on stomach with her wrists above the pillow as she shifted to get as comfortable as she could.

He chuckled and shut the book then put it on the other nightstand. He laid on his side and started running his fingers up and down her spine gently. "Abraham Wright built this house for his wife Olivia as a wedding present back in the 1700s," he recited from memory. "The story goes she told him her dream house on a date, and he remembered and had it built it as a surprise for her. They were married for 50 some odd years before she died with him following less than a year later. Family rumor is they were step siblings and only started dating after their parents died. Even though it could never be proven there are stories that his two best friends moved in right after the marriage and never moved out or married. They both died less than a year after Abraham and Olivia. This house was built on polyamorous love and all I want, we want, is to love you. You are our one true love, Beautiful." He looked down and found her fast sleep, chuckling he leaned down and kissed her head before laying down and drifted off to sleep with his arm over her back.

Alina woke up and frowned when she realized she wasn't in her room. Rolling over to her side, she felt the arm holding her tighten. "Be still Pet or you're going to accidentally hurt Doll," Axel's voice, heavy with sleep, filled the almost pitch-black room.

"She's moving," Marc's groggily voice answered back. "Go back to sleep, Beautiful, you're safe." He started moving his thumb up and down in a soothing manner.

"ALI!"

Alina tensed up hearing Melisma's scream.

"Shhh, it's okay," Marc said softly as she started to scoot away from his hold. "It's okay, Beautiful."

"I WANT ALI!!!!"

Alina flung the blanket off her and got out of the bed. She winced then masked her pain while ignoring Marc calling her to come back to bed. She walked over to the door and opened it. "What's wrong, Melisma?" She called out and seconds later heard little footsteps running towards her. She opened her arms and caught her as she jumped to hug her.

"Me miss you," Melisma pouted making Alina chuckle.

"I missed you too," she said as she shifted Melisma to hold her better. "Let's go get some breakfast, huh? Where's your daddies?"

"Me no wan eat wif daddies," she pouted, "me wan eat wif you."

"Okay," she nodded, "as long as it's okay with your daddies."

"Daddies no tare," Melisma smiled.

"You need to walk, Little One," Luke said as he came up the stairs, "Cupcake has to be careful with her foot now that Daddy Sean and Doc Roberts took her brace off. Sorry if she woke you, Cupcake."

"I just woke up, Sir," she said softly as she helped Melisma slide down her hip.

"Don't do that," Marc said as he came out of the room.

"Go let Daddy North know that everyone is awake so he can start making breakfast," Luke said and Melisma took off running. "No running!" Luke shouted making Melisma giggle.

"NO RUNNING!" Multiple voices shouted from downstairs.

"Stop doing that, Beautiful," Marc said cupping her chin with his hand as he looked into her eyes.

"I'm not doing anything," she said feeling Luke's eyes watching them.

"I know what you are doing," Marc frowned, "stop it right now."

"Stop what?" she asked as a shiver went down her spine at the intensity of his stare.

"Did you forget I know you better than yourself?" He asked tightening his grip on her chin slightly. "Quit shutting down and trying to slip into your professional mode. They are yours just as much as I am and the rest of us are. I know it's habit but stop it."

"Sorry," She whispered as she closed her eyes, took a deep breath then slowly opened them again.

"Good girl," he smirked at her rolling her eyes. "You know you secretly love it."

"Drž hubu (Shut up)" she mumbled as he burst out laughing.

"Come on Beautiful let's go get some food in your tummy there's a little girl eagerly waiting for you."
