"Nesnáším tě. (I hate you.)" she glared as Sean walked back in with Axel, Corey, and Raven following.
"Vím. (I know.)" Marc chuckled as he put the tray back in front of her. "Ale vy to překonáte. (But you will get over it.)"
Raven sat a new bowl of soup on the tray and Marc opened it. "I don't want it," She shook her head.
"Too bad," Marc said sternly. "You need to take your meds and Doc said you need food in your belly, so they don't make you sick. So, suck it up and drink some broth."
She glared at him, "No."
Marc sighed, "Think of it this way, the sooner you eat and get your meds, the sooner you can get out of here and back home with us."
"ALI!"
Alina turned to see Melisma come into the room with a huge smile on her face. She crawled up the bed and hugged Alina tightly. "Melisma," Alina sighed happy as she hugged her the best she could.
"I have food with you," she smiled as she sat next to her in the bed.
"Careful, Little One," Sean chuckled as he moved the IVs out of the way.
"Sorry Daddy," she giggled as she sat still. "What you eat, Ali?"
"She has soup," Marc smiled softly.
"Daddy, me want soup too."
"Here," Raven chuckled as he sat another bowl on the tray then handed her the spoon.
"Tank too, Waben," Melisma beamed.
Alina glared briefly at Marc then smiled at Melisma who was watching her. "Open up," Marc smiled as he held out a spoonful of broth. Alina forced herself not to roll her eyes as she opened her mouth and swallowed the broth.
"Daddy feed me too," Melisma demanded making Luke burst out laughing.
"Okay, Little One," Luke smiled as he scooted the chair over and started feeding her just like Marc was feeding Alina.
"Thanks for bringing her," Corey whispered to North who nodded while watching everything.
"She demanded to see her," North whispered back.
"Glad she's finally eating," Axel whispered. North gave him a curious look and Axel forced back a chuckle, "she was refusing to eat since Marc is having to feed her. She's not taking to losing her independence so well."
"Understandable," North nodded. "I'll bring Little One every time if I have to until her wrists heal."
"Might have to," Corey chuckled at the quick glares she's giving Marc before Melisma looks at her. He knew Marc was soaking this up as much as he could so they had no problem stepping back for now, well, he knew Raven was having a hard time not doting on her but he would have his chance, they all would in time.
"Just liquids for now?" North asked and Sean nodded.
"Until I know her stomach can keep it down, yes. She has internal bruising so I want to be extra careful."
"Got it, Doc," North nodded.
Marc's phone rang so he handed the spoon off to Raven so he could take the call.
"Я надеру тебе задницу, как только мне станет лучше, просто чтобы ты знал.YA naderu tebe zadnitsu, kak tol'ko mne stanet luchshe, prosto chtoby ty znal. (I'm going to kick your ass once I'm better, just so you know.)" she said wanting to smack that mischievous grin off his lips.
"Я не могу ждать, Котенок. YA ne mogu zhdat', Kotenok. (I can't wait, Kitten.)" He said giving her the last of the chicken broth.
"I full too," Melisma smiled as she wiped her face. "Tank too, Daddy."
"You are very welcome, Little One," Luke smiled as he pushed the tray out of the way.
"Medicine time," Sean said as he inserted some stuff into Alina's IVs. "They may make you tired, just so you know."
"Rest best medicine," Melisma said nodding.
"That's right," Sean smiled, "Rest is the best medicine."
"We nap togaver," Melisma said beaming.
"Together," Victor corrected. "I'll have Daddy Gabe bring your stuff."
"Otay," she smiled.
"You have to be careful," Sean explained.
"Why don't you read to her?" Kota asked holding out his phone. "Show her how well you have been doing on your reading."
"Otay," Melisma beamed and took her phone. "Elephant Tree," she held the phone out for Alina to look at. "Ready, Ali?"
"Ready," she smiled softly. She closed her eyes and listened as Melisma read to her.
After a few minutes Raven smiled when he realized she had drifted off to sleep. He took the extra blanket from Sean and covered both girls. "Gabe is brining a super soft blanket for her," Victor whispered making Raven nod.
"How is she doing?" Luke asked. "Other than being stubborn about eating, apparently."
"She will be fine," Marc said coming into the room. "She is just mad about not being able to do anything. She doesn't like having to be taken care of. She is just having trouble adjusting. She will be fine, eventually."
"Call go okay?" Raven asked.
