The group watched as Alina followed Brandon out into the ocean and started riding the waves. "Holy crap," Gabe muttered as he watched her stand on her board and spin around on top of the wave.
"Yeah, she's good," Corey said proudly. "Brandon's very attentive when she is out there with him, so you don't have anything to worry about."
They watched as she rode the waves doing various stunts with a huge smile on her face.
"She looks so happy," Silas said smirking as she beamed at Brandon after he swam over to check on her after she fell off the board.
"She loves being out there," Marc nodded. "It takes some convincing for her to do something for herself, she feels guilty for so but once she gets out there, she's completely truly happy. It's going to be hard to bring her back in now," he chuckled.
"Look!" Melisma shouted excitedly making everyone turn to look at her. She clapped her hands and hopped up and down with pride then pointed at her sandcastle. "So pretty!"
"It's perfect," Gabe smiled as he snapped pictures of her little sandcastle. There were different seashells decorating it and little designs that she had drawn on it. She was so proud of it, "Me show Mommy."
"ALINA!" Brandon shouted off in the distance catching their attention. "ALINA!" He dove back down into the ocean after shoving the surfboard away from him. "RAVEN!"
"Fuck," Nathan and Silas muttered as they took off to the water with Raven right behind them.
Right before they reached Brandon, he popped up with Alina in his arms. "Get the strap off," Brandon demanded as Nathan held her surfboard so they could lay her on it.
"What happened?" Silas asked as they swam back to shore.
"She went under after the wave crashed down on her," Brandon explained, "guess the board hit her on the head, I don't know, I went under also."
"Nyet surfing," Raven demanded once they reached the shore.
Sean dropped down beside them, "Alina?" he asked as they rolled her to her side and she started coughing up water.
"Ouch," she groaned as Brandon gently rolled her onto her back again. "Bam Bam?"
"I'm here, Babe," Brandon said softly as he got behind her, making her sit up and lean against him. "What happened?"
"Got dragged down," she whimpered, "something hit head, went dark."
"Alright, my Pebbles, no more surfing right now."
"Kay," she whispered keeping her eyes closed, "headache."
"I bet," he chuckled, "you got a pretty good size bump on you."
"Tired," she whispered. "Just rest bit."
"How about we go back on the boat for a bit?" Silas asked. "How does that sound? You can lay down and still be around the water."
She gave a thumbs up and Brandon chuckled. "Before we do that, someone has to show you something that they are very proud of."
"Melisma?" she asked softly.
"Miss Smarty Pants," Brandon smirked as he scooped her up.
"Oh Melisma, it's wonderful!" Alina smiled as she looked at the sandcastle. "Those shells are just perfect and look at your designs on your towers! Ariel and Rapunzel would be so jealous!"
Melisma beamed at Alina's comments, "Daddy Gabe taked pictures."
"Perfect," Alina said resting her head on Brandon's chest, "They are going to look perfect in your room."
"Your room too," Melisma declared making Alina smirk.
"Of course."
"We're going to go book a hotel for a couple of nights," Owen said walking over to them. "Have a little family vacation."
"Don't want hotel," she protested. "Stay on boat."
"You can stay on the boat with Silas, Darling," Owen nodded. "But the boat won't hold everyone so the rest of us will be at the hotel. We will get you a room just in case you change your mind, though."
"Kay," she mumbled. "Thanks."
"I'll stay with you to help keep an eye on her," Brandon whispered to Silas as she started to drift to sleep. "You need to wake up Pebbles, get all this sand off you before you go to bed."
"No," She whimpered as she tried to go back to sleep.
"Yes," Brandon chuckled, "either you wake up and get cleaned up or Silas and I are going to join you in the shower and make sure you get cleaned up."
"Bam Bam," she whined as he made her stand up. "No."
"Come on Babe," he chuckled as Silas turned on the shower. "Time to wake up."
"Fuck that's cold!" she gasped instantly waking up grabbing Brandon's shirt tightly.
"Glad to see you're finally awake Pebbles," Brandon laughed.
"S...s...so mean," her teeth chattered. "S...s...stop c...c...cold."
"Okay, Angelos Mou," Silas said as he turned the knob behind her.
"S...S...Silas?" She asked in shock.
"Is that better, Angelos Mou?" he asked as he handed Brandon the shampoo.
"Hmmm," she nodded as Brandon started washing her hair.
"How are you feeling?" Silas asked as he slowly unzipped her wetsuit.
"Better," she whispered as she let Silas slowly unclasped one hand from Brandon to pull her arm out of the sleeve of the wetsuit. She instantly grabbed Brandon's shirt then Silas did the same with the other.
"Do you want us to stop?" Silas asked huskily as he placed a soft kiss on her shoulder.
